You know what caught me off guard about this place? It’s not actually in the thick of Rhodes town like I initially thought when I booked it. The Greek Style Ground Floor Apartment sits along Eparchiaki Odos Pastidas in Triánta, which honestly turned out to be perfect – you’re close enough to everything but far enough from the cruise ship crowds that descend on the main tourist strips. I mean, you can walk to Ialyssos Beach in about ten minutes, and there’s this little taverna called Manolis just down the road that locals actually eat at (the moussaka there is ridiculous, by the way).

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual Greek home rather than a sterile hotel room, which I loved. The ground floor setup means you can literally walk straight from your door to the pool area – no awkward elevator rides in wet swimsuits or trudging up three flights of stairs after a long day exploring. The pool’s not huge, but it’s perfectly sized for cooling off during those brutal afternoon hours when the sun gets intense around 2 or 3 PM. What really sold me was the little outdoor seating area where I’d sit with my morning coffee, listening to the neighbor’s rooster (yes, there’s a rooster – this is still very much a lived-in Greek neighborhood) and planning my day. The Wi-Fi actually works well out there too, which was clutch for uploading photos and staying in touch with folks back home.

Parking was surprisingly easy – there’s space right outside, which anyone who’s driven around Greek islands will tell you is not always a given. The hosts were incredibly responsive when I had questions, and check-in was smooth even though I arrived later than planned due to a delayed ferry from Santorini. Location-wise, you’re about a 15-minute drive to Rhodes Old Town, but honestly, I enjoyed having Triánta as my base. It felt more authentic, and the beaches on this western side of the island are less crowded – Ialyssos and Kremasti both have that proper Aegean vibe without the packed sunbed situations you get closer to the port. The only minor thing I’d mention is that you’ll want a car or scooter to really explore the island from here, but rental places are everywhere and the roads are pretty straightforward. This place has that 9.5 rating for good reason – it’s the kind of spot where you actually feel like you’re living in Greece for a week, not just visiting it.

  Very spacious and clean apartment, with a beautiful outdoor space and a private pool. We honestly loved every little thing about it and made our stay in Rhodes even greater! The owners are simply wonderful people, very warm and welcoming.

  We booked the apartment 40 mins before our arrival after leaving pefkos due to the wild fires and was met there by the lovely greek hosts who were absolutely amazing. They really couldnt do enough to help. We were greeted with a fridge with cold water, wine and fresh watermelon. The apartment was spotless and equiped with everything we could need for a family of 5. (2 adults and 2 teenagers and a tween) including a dishwasher and washing machine. The pool was stunning and was cleaned when needed. After a rocky start to our holiday this place was beyond perfection for our last 5 days. The location is great too. Short drive to Rhodes town, falaraki and ixia. Also very close to a beautiful little greek village with some lovely bars and resteraunts including a gelato shop. The host even made us a beatiful greek dish before we left which was a lovely touch. We will definatly return.

  What could be improved: Οι Αποστάσεις, που από τα πάντα σχεδόν ήταν 20 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο τουλάχιστον.
  Βέβαια είναι μεγάλο νησί η Ρόδος και χρειάζεται μεγάλες μετακινήσεις.
