You know what caught me off guard about GK Home Apartment? It’s actually part of a fitness club, which sounds weird on paper but works surprisingly well in practice. I mean, where else can you roll out of bed and hit a proper gym without even leaving the property? The place sits right on Ethniki Odos Rodou Lindou – that’s the main coastal road that connects all the beach towns – so you’re literally minutes from Faliraki’s famous strip but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the late-night party chaos.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than some sterile hotel room. There’s this lived-in comfort that you don’t usually get with vacation rentals, probably because the owners actually understand what travelers need (decent Wi-Fi, proper shower pressure, a kitchen that’s actually equipped for cooking). The fitness club connection means the whole place has this active, healthy vibe – you’ll see people heading out for morning runs along the coast or coming back from tennis matches at the nearby courts. Parking’s never been an issue when I’ve stayed, which honestly is half the battle in this part of Rhodes during summer. The staff genuinely knows the area too, not just the tourist trap recommendations but actual local spots. They pointed me toward this tiny taverna about ten minutes inland that I never would’ve found otherwise.

What really sets it apart is the location’s sweet spot factor. You’re close enough to walk to Faliraki Beach when you want that classic Greek island beach day, but you can also easily drive to some of the quieter coves further south toward Lindos – the road literally takes you there. I’ve stayed during both peak season and shoulder months, and honestly, the vibe changes completely. Summer brings that classic Mediterranean energy with families and groups, while late spring or early fall feels almost residential. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be some luxury resort, but it nails what it’s going for. The combination of the fitness facilities, the practical apartment setup, and being plugged into the local scene rather than isolated in some tourist bubble creates this experience that feels both active and relaxing. If you’re the type who likes having options – beach day, hiking in the hills, exploring Rhodes Town, or just working out and hanging by the pool – this place puts you in the right spot to do whatever strikes your mood.

  It was a really nice stay, stores and restaurants are close, 10-15 minutes walking distance, there is parking on the property. Also, the host was really nice, he helped us rent a car and gave us free access to the gym, they left extra supplies in the house. There was free wifi, smart tv, and two air conditioners. The kitchen was equipped and you can prepare food if needed and also have a cup of coffee.

  We loved our apartment. It has everything you need for a perfect stay. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, powerful shower, free parking & free use of George`s amazing gym (for guests)! A supermarket is just over the road. Faliraki beach & centre is no more than 10 minute walk away. We hired a car to see more of the island, because we`ve never been before. George is always available, if you need any help or advice. But not intrusive in any way.
  
  What could be improved: We wish we had seen GK Home 2 before we booked. It is even nicer, with its mezzanine bedroom and beautiful new shower room. Thanks for showing us George. We will be booking that one next time!

  Loved interior design and feeling, feild with olive trees behind back door and beautiful little garden upfront, with at least 5 different types of palm trees and more pleasing details. Amazing host, helpfull with everything but not intrusive in any way. And as a plus, he owns a gym next door which I was too lazy to use this time😏 but would definitely try the next🙂

  We are very grateful to George and his wife for their hospitality and help in all matters! George is a very positive and kind person, he was always in touch and satisfied all our requests. The accommodation is very comfortable, beautiful, clean, it has everything you need for a holiday! Also George has a modern gym that you can use. It was convenient to get to the store, to the main street and the beach. Thank you very much for a pleasant stay!

  Wszystko potrzebne do wygodnego pobytu jest na miejscu (mikrofalówka, czajnik, ekspres do kawy, naczynia, sztućce, talerze…), wszystko w domku działa znakomicie (nawet netflix). Wszystkie drobne usterki George (gospodarz) z żoną usuwali natychmiast. Mieszkanie oddalone od centrum (sklepy, restauracje, dyskoteki) i plaży ok. 10 min. spacerkiem. Mieliśmy ciszę i spokój (tego chcieliśmy) oraz bardzo dobre miejsce do wyjazdów po wyspie, bo 100m od głównej drogi w Faliraki.

  ottima posizione, leggermente fuori dalla movida del centro, ma funzionale a qualsiasi spostamento. Casa carina ed accogliente nel suo piccolo, anche se noi uscivamo la mattina e tornavamo la sera.

  Rugalmas, segítőkész volt szállásadó, aki helyben lakik és dolgozik, így könnyen elérhető egész nap. Az apartman jól felszerelt, a parkolás egyszerű.

  Appartamento ben attrezzato e ben arredato, george è stato gentilissimo è disponibile per qualsiasi cosa, ci ha anche lasciato sostare in un’altro appartamento nel pomeriggio dato che avevamo il volo alla sera! Super gentile!
  
  What could be improved: L’unica piccolissima pecca del nostro appartamento in particolare è che la doccia, nonostante avesse il piatto, si riempiva d’acqua e doveva uscire da uno scolo bagnando anche il pavimento fuori dato anche il fatto che non c’era una tenda a limitare gli schizzi, per il resto tutto perfetto!
