There’s this relaxed, unpretentious vibe that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something locals might actually recommend.

Location & Getting Around

Afantou isn’t one of those tourist trap towns, which is exactly why couples seem to love this spot so much. You’re positioned perfectly between Rhodes Town and Lindos — I mean, you can hit both without feeling like you’re spending your entire vacation in a car. The beach at Afantou is actually one of the island’s longest, and it’s maybe a five-minute walk from the villa. What I really appreciated was being close enough to the action but far enough away that you’re not dealing with cruise ship crowds every morning.

The villa itself has this comfortable, lived-in quality that bigger hotels just can’t replicate. There’s a swimming pool that’s perfect for those lazy afternoon moments when the beach feels like too much effort, plus they’ve got ping-pong and mini golf if you’re traveling with kids or just feeling competitive. I spent more time than I’d like to admit playing mini golf here — it’s surprisingly well-designed for what’s essentially a bonus amenity. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel experience.

The property is impeccably maintained without feeling sterile, and there’s this sense that they’ve thought through what travelers actually need. Free parking might sound mundane, but when you’re exploring Rhodes by car, it’s honestly a game-changer for your daily budget and stress levels.

  Ruime accommodatie, veel ligbedden, heerlijk zwembad (in mei wel koud), schoon en netjes. ✨
  
  What could be improved: De badkamers kunnen wat onderhoud gebruiken. Het zou fijn zijn om 2 pasjes te krijgen zodat het stroom niet uitvalt als de ene groep eerder vertrekt dan de andere groep. Eén rolluik werkte niet. Verder echt een super fijn verblijf! 🙏🏻

  We really enjoyed our stay in the villa and had a great time there. The kitchen was comfortable and well-equipped, with plenty of towels provided, and everything we needed was available—not just in the kitchen but also inflatables for the pool, family games, and even a DVD player and a projector. A traditional Greek meal was also served (coordinated per our availability), which was a delightful and tasty surprise.
  
  What could be improved: ‏The internet connection was quite unstable, which could be a regional issue, but it may be worth considering changing the internet service provider if possible. Additionally, guests should be informed about the location and operation of the boiler, as the solar heater alone isn’t sufficient for 10 people unless it’s peak summer. Lastly, the villa isn’t particularly toddler-safe, so this should be noted in the booking information

  We booked the villa at very short notice becayse we had to evacuate our previous place due to forest fire. We were able to enter the villa in only few hours from the booking which was very well appreciated by our travel group of two families. It was nice to be able to continue our holiday like this.
  
  The villa itself is just amazing. Everything is high standard and there is pretty much all the amenities you can think of. The pool was also very nice and big. Yard is private.
  
  Recommended if you need a bigger villa in the area!
