You know what struck me first about George Studios Pefkos? It’s actually positioned perfectly on Main Street without feeling like you’re sleeping above a tourist trap. I mean, Pefki (or Pefkos, depending on which sign you’re reading) isn’t exactly a sprawling metropolis, but this spot manages to put you right in the heart of things while still being quiet enough that you’re not hearing scooters revving at 2 AM.

The whole place has this unpretentious Greek island vibe that I honestly wasn’t expecting from a 4-star property. The studios themselves are spacious – like, actually spacious, not “European spacious” where you’re bumping into the kitchenette every time you turn around. Each one’s got a little balcony situation going on, and if you score one facing the right direction, you’ll catch glimpses of the sea between the olive trees. The kitchenettes are pretty functional too, which matters more than you’d think when you want to grab fresh tomatoes and feta from the local market instead of eating out every single meal. Speaking of which, there’s this tiny grocery spot about a three-minute walk down the street that locals actually use – always a good sign.

What really sets this place apart though is how it sits in Pefki itself. This isn’t Lindos with its Instagram-crazy crowds or Rhodes Town with all the cruise ship chaos. Pefki’s got this laid-back fishing village thing happening, even though it’s definitely developed for tourism. You can walk to the main beach in maybe five minutes, and it’s the kind of spot where Greek families bring their kids alongside the tourists. The water’s incredibly clear – like, you’ll spend way too much time just staring at your feet through two meters of water clear. George Studios puts you close enough to wander over whenever you want, but far enough back that you’re not dealing with beach bar music until midnight. The staff seems to actually live in the area, which makes a difference when you need directions or restaurant recommendations that go beyond the obvious choices. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that front desk drama you sometimes get at smaller properties. I’d honestly come back here, especially in late spring or early fall when Pefki hits that sweet spot of perfect weather without the peak summer intensity.

  The room had everything my son needed. He even commented on how lively the shower room. tiles were. The room was clean and had an outside seating area. George is very helpful and communicated with us about arrival etc so well.

  It had a lot going for it. Great location.
  Outside seating areas to the front and back. It was lovely to be able to have both doors open when it got too warm. Five minutes from everything you need in Pefkos and the best beach I've found in Rhodes so far. Lots of pool bars if that's your preference. For me personally it was all handy on foot with no issues. Bonus. Transport links also close by.
  Another bonus was the privacy.
  
  What could be improved: The air con wasn't great. The WiFi was patchy. The drains could be smelly. A few ants. It just felt a bit overpriced to me but I guess you're paying for the location.
  I had a bad experience at the owner's restaurant too. I complained and explained that it would go in my review. He was quite arrogant about this. I cannot recommend George's restaurant unfortunately

  The location is very convenient for getting either to beach or central street. The room itself has everything needed for comfort stay ( AC was amazing). The owner is amazing George who is absolutely helpful and tried to help us with everything we asked for.

  The host is amazing, very kind and always available if there are any issues. Location is one of the best in Pefkos (I've been here many times), very close to the main streets and the beach but it is still quite at night. Would highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again.

  George is an incredibly friendly host who made sure that we feel comfortable at his accomodation at all times. And we did indeed! The place has everything you need, conveniently located in a quiet street close to restaurants and shops and the beautiful Pefkos Beach!

  Location was amazing, close to the beach, to the main street, shops, restaurants, pools. A view was excellent, mountains. The owner was friendly and helpful. Kitchen was small but you had everything you need. Room was very clean. We had 2 small kids, we bought small pool to the backyard, it was nice to be there when it was too hot being on the beach. The beach is clean and water is clear.
