Pefki isn’t one of those touristy beach towns that feels overrun — it’s actually more like a peaceful fishing village that happens to have gorgeous water. The studios are positioned perfectly, just a short stroll from the main beach but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with crowds right outside your door. I mean, when you wake up and can walk to crystal-clear water in under five minutes, that’s pretty hard to beat. The parking situation is fantastic too — having your own guaranteed spot right on-site is such a relief when you’re exploring the island by car.

The Room Experience

My studio was clean, functional, and surprisingly spacious for what I paid. The kitchenette came in handy more than I expected — nothing fancy, but perfect for making morning coffee or keeping drinks cold. The room had this simple, Mediterranean vibe with white walls and blue accents that felt authentically Greek rather than trying too hard. Air conditioning worked well (crucial in summer), and the bathroom was modern enough. What I really appreciated was how quiet everything stayed, even with other guests around.

Beach & Surroundings

The beach here is honestly one of Pefki’s best-kept secrets. It’s this lovely mix of sand and pebbles with water so clear you can see your feet even when you’re swimming out pretty far. There are a couple of tavernas within walking distance where you can grab fresh fish — I’d recommend trying the place with the blue chairs, their grilled octopus is incredible. The whole area has this laid-back energy that’s perfect if you want to escape the busier parts of Rhodes without feeling completely isolated.

You’re getting a clean, comfortable base in an excellent location without paying resort prices. The staff genuinely cares about making sure you’re settled in, and they’re always happy to point you toward the best local spots. For couples especially, there’s something romantic about the simplicity of it all — waking up, walking to the beach, exploring quiet villages, then coming back to your peaceful studio. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why you fell in love with Greek island life in the first place.
