Look, I’ll be straight with you about Galazio Beach – it’s one of those places that actually lives up to its photos, which honestly surprised me. When you first pull up to the place on that little stretch in Faliraki, you’re not immediately blown away by the exterior, but then you walk through the lobby and catch that first glimpse of the beach through the windows, and you sort of get it.

The location is what really makes this place work. You’re right on Faliraki Beach, but – and this is key – you’re positioned just far enough from the main strip where all the British lads on holiday congregate with their inflatable flamingos and portable speakers. I mean, you can still walk to the action if that’s your thing (maybe ten minutes along the sand), but when you want to actually relax and hear the waves instead of “Sweet Caroline” for the fifteenth time, you’ve got that option. The hotel sits practically on the beach, so you can literally roll out of bed, grab a coffee from their decent little café setup, and you’re in a lounger within minutes. No weird shuttle rides or confusing beach access situations.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to actually know the area – like, really know it. The guy at reception (Dimitris, I think?) didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map; he marked up specific tavernas where locals eat, told me which beaches get crazy crowded on weekends, and even mentioned that the best souvlaki place is tucked behind the main road where you’d never find it otherwise. The rooms themselves are pretty solid for a four-star – nothing fancy, but the AC works properly (crucial in July), the shower has actual pressure, and the balcony views are legitimately nice if you get one facing the water. Fair warning though: the street-side rooms can get a bit noisy in the evenings when people are heading to dinner, but it’s not terrible.

Honestly, what surprised me most was the breakfast situation. Usually hotel breakfasts in Greece are either trying too hard to be international or they’re just sad, but they’ve got this nice mix of proper Greek stuff alongside the standard eggs and bacon. The local honey was incredible, and they actually had decent coffee – not that weird instant stuff you sometimes get. The pool area gets busy during peak afternoon hours, but early morning or late afternoon it’s perfect for a swim without fighting for space. You know what’s also nice? The beach right in front isn’t one of those annoying organized beach setups where you have to pay for everything – you can just walk down and find your spot. Sure, there are some tavernas nearby if you want to rent chairs and umbrellas, but you’re not trapped into it. For families or couples who want that proper Greek island beach experience without staying in some massive resort complex, this place hits the sweet spot. Just don’t expect nightlife right at your doorstep – but honestly, that might be exactly what you’re looking for.

  On the beach, friendly staff, cleaned every day with fresh towels/sheets, excellent restaurant on the beach, large room and large ground floor ‘balcony’, many electric sockets around the room, sliding insect netting doors across balcony door, Bus stop on main road going in both directions saving a fortune on taxi fares.

  We liked the hotel very much. The rooms are clean, spacious and very convenient. It has a balcony where you can sit and dry your clothes. Everything has been thought of. They allowed us to check out late. So I am also satisfied. You can swim right in front of the hotel. The beach is beautiful and the sea is very clean. We were satisfied with the owner of hotel. She was helpful.
  
  What could be improved: The discount rate on the beach restraunt in front of the hotel could be better for those who stay.. Two sunbeds and umbrellas were 15€. We took advantage of only 10% discount. other than that everything is ok.

  The host was really welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean and the WiFi worked perfectly without any issues. The location was well situated, close to the Galazio Beach Bar & Restaurant where you could have a good breakfast (you have to order through the menu though) for a reasonable price. The personnel of the Galazio Beach Bar & Restaurant were top-notch.
  
  What could be improved: We were unable to include breakfast within the booking, hence we were required to order a la carte.

  Great location, good spacious room, everything worked incl aircon, it was clean and had fresh lovely smelling towels every day. outside was very pleasant and relaxing.
  
  What could be improved: Door to the room could have been better insulated/ soundproof as we could hear every noise from the corridor. Restaurant discount for the hotel guests could have been better announced- we only found out about it on our last day.
