You know what struck me first about Flora’s Place? It’s tucked away on Attavyrou Street in a way that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the cruise ship crowds haven’t figured out yet. I mean, you’re still right in Rhodes Town – maybe a seven-minute walk to the Medieval City walls – but there’s this quiet residential vibe that’s honestly refreshing after dealing with the tourist chaos down by Mandraki Harbor.

The whole place has this lived-in elegance that’s hard to fake. The owner (I’m pretty sure it’s actually Flora, though she might just be carrying on the name) clearly knows her stuff when it comes to what travelers actually need. The rooms aren’t massive, but they’re thoughtfully laid out – proper hooks in the bathroom, decent water pressure, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing. What really got me was the attention to local touches without going overboard with the Greek island clichés. The breakfast spread includes some genuinely good local honey and these little pastries that I’m pretty sure come from a bakery somewhere in the old town, not from a industrial supplier.

The location thing is interesting because you’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters, but far enough from the main drags that you can actually sleep at night. I stayed there in late September, and honestly, the only noise was the occasional motorbike and some very determined roosters from somewhere nearby – which is sort of charming until about 5:30 AM, but that’s Rhodes for you. The staff seemed to actually live in the area, which meant they could tell you things like which tavernas the locals go to (there’s apparently a fantastic fish place about ten minutes away that doesn’t even have a sign) and when the best time to visit Lindos is if you want to avoid the tour bus invasion. Check-in was smooth, though they do that very Greek thing where everything happens at a more relaxed pace than you might expect – just roll with it. The 9.3 rating makes sense when you consider that this isn’t trying to be a luxury resort, it’s trying to be a really good neighborhood hotel, and it succeeds at that completely. If you’re the type who needs a pool and room service, look elsewhere, but if you want a genuine base for exploring Rhodes that doesn’t feel like a tourist factory, Flora’s Place hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Easy check-in,check-out, the neighbor Ursula was very helpful. Good size rooms.
  
  What could be improved: We were missing essential toiletries eg shower gels or shampoo. The cooker/induction wasn't working properly,but we still managed to cook something.

  I had a wonderful time with my family at Floral's Place and highly recommend this property! The area is incredibly peaceful, perfect for relaxation. The apartment is very well equipped, and the owner has taken care of every detail and added touches that give the interior a charming feel. We lacked nothing. The bedrooms are spacious, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The apartment was clean and pleasant. It's a quiet area, yet close to the beautiful, sandy Zaphyros Beach and the old town. There are shops with basic products nearby, which is very convenient. An additional advantage is the garden terrace with a grill, surrounded by greenery, providing privacy and comfort. We always found parking space on the street. The owner is friendly and kind, and communication with him was quick and easy. This is a place we will definitely return to!

  Absolutely everything, 4 of us stayed at this accommodation. It was comfortable and had enough space for us , we wanted a place where we could cook our own meals and this was perfect ,we used the outdoor area too . The bedrooms were a great size and beds were comfy .We could walk into the old town (35mins ) and there is a great butcher directly across the road and a small supermarket close by . We did hire a car in Rhodes which made it easier to get to local beaches and do sight seeing. The person we were corresponding with was really helpful and replied within a few hours . I can highly recommend this amazing place .

  Very spacious apartment, layout perfect for two couples. Kitchen well equipped with dishes etc. Garden area lovely and having use of bbq great. We all thoroughly enjoyed our

  The place had plenty of room. It had a lovely little garden. Walking distance to take away food shop pharmacy small supermarket and butcher, and even within a 30 min or less walk to Old Town. Washing machine was a bonus as was the well appointed kitchen with a dishwasher. A nice balcony off the lounge room to sit and watch the world go by. Lots of friendly neighbourhood cats to keep you company. Really the place lacked for nothing.
