Fiore di Rodi – Private Pool, Jacuzzi and Barbecue

Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Rhodes, but Fiore di Rodi actually surprised me – and honestly, that doesn’t happen much anymore. The moment you turn onto Deykalionos street in Ialyssos, you can tell this isn’t your typical hotel row situation. It’s tucked into this quiet residential area where you hear roosters in the morning (I mean it) and the smell of jasmine actually competes with the chlorine from your private pool.

The whole setup feels like you’re borrowing a friend’s really nice vacation house rather than checking into a hotel. That private pool though – it’s not huge, but it’s yours, and there’s something addictive about floating around at sunset with a cold Mythos while the barbecue heats up. The jacuzzi sits right next to it, which sounds a bit much on paper but works perfectly when the evening breeze kicks in from the coast. You’re about a ten-minute walk from Ialyssos Beach, close enough that you can hear the waves on quiet nights but far enough that you don’t get the beach bar music until 2 AM. The barbecue area is properly set up too – not just some sad portable grill, but a real stone setup where you can actually cook those lamb chops from the local butcher on Diagoridon street.

What really got me was the attention to details that most places skip. The outdoor shower has proper water pressure (you know how rare that is in Greece), there’s actual shade around the pool during the brutal afternoon hours, and – this is weirdly important – the WiFi reaches the pool area so you can actually work if you need to. The parking situation is stress-free, which if you’ve driven around Rhodes Town looking for a spot, you’ll appreciate. The owner clearly lives nearby because problems get sorted quickly, not like those big resort places where you submit a ticket and hope for the best. I stayed during late May when things weren’t completely crazy yet, and honestly, I can see why this place has that 9.7 rating. It delivers on the stuff that actually matters – privacy, space to breathe, and that feeling like you’ve found something special rather than just booked something convenient. If you’re the type who wants to barbecue fresh fish from Ialyssos harbor while soaking your feet in your own jacuzzi, well, you found your place.

  Mary was a fantastic hostess and nothing was too much trouble for her. Just enough input. She made us feel very welcome: welcome gift, mid-stay gift and leaving gift! Accommodation was spotless. Bed was very comfortable.

  The accommodation was amazing. The rooms were clean, and the pool in the beautiful garden was awesome. The hosts were very nice; they provided a welcome package in the fridge and a goodbye surprise with Greek sweets. Thank you, Mary! 🙂 Everything was perfect. We will come back 😉

  Mary was lovely and so helpful. The pool was perfect in the July heat. We could hear peacocks and roosters. It was peaceful and tranquil.
  
  What could be improved: It wasn't a problem for us, but you do need a car. It's out of the city in a rural/ suburban area.

  Location not so far from the airport (around 12 km) but absolutely no nuisance. Easy access and well located for getting around the rest of the island by car.
  The accommodation is modern, in a very quiet property. The swimming pool as well as the summer kitchen are a real plus, and very well maintained. Beautiful garden, and very beautiful trees. The owners were very discreet and were attentive throughout our stay. Really nice and caring owners. We recommend this place and thank Mary and her husband.

  We loved our stay! Mary and her husbund were so helpful and welcoming when we arrived in Lalyssos and did everything possible to make sure we were happy throughout, and at the same time were very discreet. We enjoyed absolute privacy during our trip which is exactly what we were looking for! The apartment was great, had eveything we needed and was lovely and clean! The pool and jacuzzi were to the same standard, clean and very realxing. I would highly recommend a visit here! Having a car is proabably a must, fortunately we did. Alternatively there are loads of Taxis in the area. It's a good 20ish minute walk to the beach/restaurants/shops from the apartment or a 5 minute drive. Thank you for a brilliant stay 🙂 We would not hesitate in returning!

  There was very friendly receive by Mary and she gave us a cake and some drinks in the frigde as a welcome gifts.
  We were given much privacy and the apartment and the pool area were very nice and clean.
  At the end of our holiday, Mary and her husband gave us a visit and bring us some local sweets-+.
  
  It's easy to recommend this place. Rental car is needed. Nearest supermarkets and restaurants are 2-3 km away.
  
  What could be improved: If only the location would have been closer to the city, but It didn't bother us too much, because we had a rental car.

  Nous sommes restés 5 nuits chez Mary et avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. La villa est très bien située, tout était très propre, le lit confortable et surtout Mary et son mari ont été très attentionnés avec nous : lit bébé installé, brioche offerte et même partage d'un gâteau fait maison 🙂 Notre logement était très bien équipé pour cuisiner et l'espace extérieur avec piscine et BBQ nous était entièrement dédié (les propriétaires vivent au dessus du logement, nous étions au niveau sous sol). La piscine était très agréable et le jacuzzi aussi (attention ils ne sont pas chauffés). Nous avions une voiture et pouvions nous garer à l'intérieur de la propriété et nous allions souvent à Rhodes qui était à 15min en voiture, parfait pour aller diner le soir! Nous recommandons entièrement ce super logement et reviendrons certainement !

  Wir waren zu 3 im Urlaub , Wir haben uns alle so gut ausruhen können, alles war richtig schön die Unterkunft war der Wahnsinn. Wir haben sehr viele stunden verbracht am Pool was wirklich großartig ist . Die Gastgeber sind super nette Leute . Die haben sich so gut für uns gekümmert 🥰 Aufjedenfall die Beste Unterkunft in Rhodos.

  Prachtige en rustige locatie met een mooie tuin en zwembad. Fijn, schoon en compleet appartement met veel privacy. De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn zeer attent en vriendelijk en we werden verwend met Griekse lekkernijen. Je hebt wel een auto nodig omdat het verblijf buiten de stad is. Het was een heerlijk verblijf en hebben genoten.

  Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen dennoch nicht fern von Flughafen und diversen Ausflugszielen.uns hat sehr das Ambiente gefallen.Die Wohnung ist geräumig und lässt nichts an wünschen offen.Ganz klares Highlight die Pool Anlage vorallem am Abend mit wundervoller Beleuchtung.
  
  What could be improved: Das Doppelbett könnte erneuert werden,da es ganz schön knirscht bei jeder Drehung im Schlaf ansonsten alles super
