You know what surprised me about Family House Faliraki Studios? It’s actually tucked away in this quieter pocket of Faliraki where you can still hear the cicadas at night, but you’re literally a five-minute walk from all the action on the main strip. I mean, Faliraki gets this reputation for being all party chaos, but this place manages to give you the best of both worlds – close enough to stumble back from Anthony Quinn Bay after sunset drinks, but far enough that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists yelling under your window at 3 AM.

The studios themselves feel more like staying at a friend’s family place than some sterile hotel complex. Honestly, that 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there – the owners clearly care about the details that actually matter. The kitchenettes are properly equipped (not just for show), and I was genuinely impressed that the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing every time it kicks on. The terraces are where this place really shines though – most of them catch this amazing cross-breeze in the evenings, and if you’re lucky enough to snag one of the upper-floor units, you get these glimpses of the sea between the olive trees. There’s something about sipping your morning Greek coffee while looking out over those terracotta rooftops that just… well, it gets you in the right headspace for a proper Greek island day.

What really sold me on the place was how the family running it seems to know everyone in town – they pointed us toward this little taverna about ten minutes inland where we had the best lamb kleftiko of our entire trip, and it’s definitely not somewhere we would’ve found on our own. The location is honestly perfect if you want to explore beyond the resort bubble. You’re close enough to walk to Ladiko Beach when Faliraki Beach gets too crowded (which, let’s be real, happens pretty much every afternoon in summer), and the local bus stops right at the corner if you want to head into Rhodes Town without dealing with rental car parking nightmares. I stayed there in late September and the whole area had this relaxed, end-of-summer vibe – the pool area was peaceful during the day, but you could still find plenty of life in the nearby bars and restaurants when you wanted it. Fair warning though – if you’re looking for a massive resort with organized activities and poolside entertainment, this isn’t that kind of place. But if you want something that feels authentic and well-run, where you can actually relax without feeling like you’re missing out on the real Rhodes experience, Family House Faliraki really delivers on that promise.

  Very friendly family run appointments say they only clean rooms 2 times a week but we had our done 3 times and nothing seams to much trouble for the staff would highly recommend

  The family house is one of a kind. Not just for the facilities, and I'll get back to that, but also for the family.
  It is what it says, it's a family run business. They take pride in everything they do and present.
  You couldn't wish for a better service than you will receive here, and remember, we're talking self catering! 🤗
  I'm a very honest person and I'll say it as it is.
  Yes, you can find cheaper self catering apartments in town but that is where your small savings will end.
  You would not get a spacious, above average sized apartment in faliraki. You wouldn't get grade A air conditioning. And did I mention the soundproof rooms? You're only a 5 minute walk from the main strip yet you wouldn't know it.
  So , back to the family house.
  The pool area is spotless. I've personally witnessed stamos cleaning the pool and all of the sunbeds nightly.
  The bar area is wonderful. It's under shelter, although in greek summertime that doesn't feel as cool as you want it to. Lol
  Savas, Nicole and stamos are there to look after you.
  They offer to alter your food order to benefit you. Nothing is too much trouble. And do it with a smile, and it's genuine. They really are a beautiful family. If you know, you know.
  Stamma does a fantastic job on the rooms. They are spotless. Towels are replaced and beds are stripped and remaid during my stay, I do 7 days, so very good.
  My family came with me this year and my grandson Jacob just loved it there. He didn't want to leave. He's 9. The family made him feel like part of them and he was smitten. He spoke about it for days. Lol
  I've stayed at the Family house with family, with friends and also been on my own and can definitely state that there is no better stay anywhere in faliraki that can beat this.

  Loved our stay at this gem in Faliraki.
  Location is excellent – It’s close to a bus stop but it’s not noisy. Close to a big supermarket and one of the nicest bakeries I’ve been to. 10-15 min walks to the downtown area and beach.
  Loved the clean and spacious apartment – enough room for us and our two teenage boys.
  The pool area is super nice as well – plenty of loungers and great vibe. The pool bar is also nice and the food there is good and very reasonably priced.
  Best of all is though the friendly staff that work there.
  I would highly recommend this place.

  Accommodation was comfortable, stuff was very friendly and helped us with everything, big positive was private pool with pool bar where they serve you coffee, drinks and also food. We had realy great time there and we can recommend for everyone.

  Absolutely love these apartments and the family that work really hard to make the stay perfect.
  Rooms are very clean. Pool well looked after and bar area fully stocked. The meals are fresh and cooked to order and there is a good amount of choice.

  Family House has a very welcoming atmosphere. I felt welcomed and looked after by the wonderful people there from the moment of my arrival. I will definitely come back again.

  Pool clean and refreshing for a cooling dip.
  Pool bar makes delicious snacks.
  My room was serviced twice during my 7 days, with fresh bedding and towels.
  Great convenient location, not far from main parts but still quiet at night.
  
  I had no problems at all during my stay because Family House had catered for all their guests needs and show genuine care for their guests.
  
  I was travelling solo but I didn't feel alone there. I would highly recommend for other solo travellers, it is located very close to the beaches, tavernas and bars.

  3rd time staying here. Staff are excellent and friendly, making you feel like one of the family.
  Everywhere is exceptionally clean, with no dirty feet walking around the pool areas.
  Bars, restaurants, and supermarkets are 1 minute away, but don't hear any noise.
