You know what really gets me about Evelia Sea House? It’s tucked away in Plimmiri, which honestly most people zip right past on their way to the more famous beaches – and that’s exactly what makes it perfect. I mean, you’re literally steps from this gorgeous stretch of sand that feels like your own private slice of Rhodes, especially if you wander down early morning when the fishing boats are heading out.

The whole place has this relaxed, family-run vibe that’s getting harder to find these days. The rooms are proper comfortable (not fancy-schmancy, but everything works and the beds are actually good), and here’s the thing – you can hear the waves from most of them. Not traffic, not construction, just that gentle whoosh that makes you sleep like a baby. The staff genuinely seem to care about what you’re up to, like when Maria at the front desk spent twenty minutes drawing me a map to the best tavernas in the village because, well, there’s only about three and she wanted to make sure I hit the right one for fresh fish. Parking’s no drama either, which if you’ve driven around Greek islands in summer, you’ll appreciate.

What really sold me on this place is how it sits in the landscape – you’re right on the beach but also close enough to explore the southern tip of the island without feeling like you need to plan a major expedition. The whole Plimmiri area is pretty special actually, sort of wild and windswept compared to the busier northern beaches. You’ll see windsurfers and kite surfers doing their thing (the wind can be intense, fair warning), but there’s plenty of sheltered spots too. The sunsets here are ridiculous – I’m talking sit-on-your-balcony-with-a-drink-and-just-stare kind of ridiculous. And honestly, with a 9.3 rating, it’s not just me being sentimental about the place. Check-in was smooth, the room was spotless, and when my bathroom tap decided to be temperamental on day two, someone was up to fix it within the hour. These are the details that matter when you’re trying to actually relax on holiday, you know?

  The Evelia Sea house is a cute house, designed with care and taste Our spontaneous trip to windsurfing spot was perfect match with the house quite location, wonderful to relax with nice views and lovely set up. Above all the landlords are super friendly, communicative amd eager to solve any issues that may cime your way.
  
  What could be improved: A bit far from food places , you need to organize yourself which is not my strong suit 😀

  If you like privacy and personalised holidays, Evelia sea house is your choice! It is literally 2minutes walk to the sea.
  The house offers a very big garden, huge terrace with chez-longues (actually you have terraces all around the house), outside shower (which we loved! no worries, there is also one inside), spacious living room + kitchen, and almost everything you may need in the kitchen (except for kitchen towel! we bought one with Rhodes view and brought it back as souvenir :)).
  The house is very stylish but also Greek ♥.
  Internet worked perfectly (which is quite rare in remote areas), air conditioning was available both in the bedroom and the living-kitchen area. Bed sheets and towels were of high quality, i really appreciated that.
  The surroundings are beautiful, you can see wild deers on your way to the local restaurant, the water in the sea is crystal clear.
  The manager of the property sent to us all the details one day before arrival and was responding very promptly to our questions and requests.
  The owners of the house actually came to see us when the wildfires started last week, which was super nice of them! We felt so much safer as we knew whom to contact in case of emergency.
  FYI the wildfires did not reach the house nor Plimmiri (they were stopped about 15km away), but of course the situation could change, so check it out!
  
  What could be improved: Maybe the owners could consider offering a beach umbrella for the guests to be able to bring to the beach?
  We bought one (cheep one as we knew it was for just 10 days) and left in the house.

  Very comfortable house on large yard close to sea.
  
  What could be improved: Personnel service must be improve. We receive 1 set towel’s for week holidays, after I called for additional have to wait 2 days and remind that we need towels.
  There is not any beach or sun bed towels even we ask.
  We had 1 toilet paper and 1 garbage bag for a week. I asked staff for supply- they forgot….
  Nearest groceries are in Katavia village 10 minutes drive by car.
  Whole week same set bed sheets and towels and lack cleaning service.

  מיקום מעולה לגולשים וגם לנופש למשפחה, חוף ים ואטרקציות ספורט מים כ 100 מטר מהוילה .

  Къщата е снабдена с всичко, от което човек би имал нужда (и дори с неща, от които човек не би се сетил, че има нужда!).
  Намира се много близо до плажа. Чиста, уютна, функционална и с много морско излъчване. Наличието на маслинова горичка в двора е очарователно.
  Комуникацията с домакините протече безпроблемно.
  
  What could be improved: В близост има комплекс, шумната развлекателната програма на който ни "забавляваше" през повечето вечери.
