You know, I’ve stayed at my fair share of places on Rhodes, but EVA’s House in Pastida really caught me off guard – in the best possible way. I mean, when you first pull up to this unassuming spot on the main road through town, you might wonder if you’ve made the right choice. But honestly, within five minutes of checking in, I knew this was going to be one of those stays you actually remember.

The thing about Pastida is that it’s properly Greek – not the tourist-heavy areas you’ll find closer to Rhodes Town or Lindos, but an actual working village where people live their regular lives. EVA’s House sits right in the heart of this, which means you’re getting authentic island life without the cruise ship crowds. The owner (Eva herself, naturally) has this way of making you feel like you’re staying with family rather than just checking into another hotel. She’ll tell you exactly which taverna to hit for dinner – and I mean the one where locals actually eat, not the tourist traps. There’s this incredible little place about a ten-minute walk away where they do fresh fish that’ll ruin you for anywhere else.

What really sets this place apart, though, is how thoughtfully everything’s been done. The rooms have that perfect balance of traditional Greek character and modern comfort – you’ve got the whitewashed walls and local touches, but also proper air conditioning and Wi-Fi that actually works (trust me, this matters more than you think when you’re trying to upload those sunset photos). The beds are genuinely comfortable, not the rock-hard mattresses you sometimes get in family-run places. And the little details matter here – fresh towels that smell like they’ve been line-dried, locally made soaps, that sort of thing. The courtyard area is where you’ll probably end up spending your mornings with coffee, watching the village wake up. It’s peaceful in a way that’s hard to find these days.

Parking’s easy, which is a huge relief if you’ve rented a car to explore the island – and you really should, because Pastida puts you perfectly positioned for day trips. You’re about twenty minutes from some of the island’s best beaches, but far enough from the madness that you can actually relax when you come back. The village itself has a couple of cafes, a small market for basics, and that genuine community feel where everyone knows everyone. Eva knows the island inside and out, so definitely ask her about the hiking trails or the monastery up in the hills – she’ll point you toward stuff that’s not in the guidebooks. With a 9.3 rating, you’d expect something special, and this place delivers on that promise without feeling pretentious about it. It’s just really, really well done.

  What a great find in a convenient location. Quiet and within a short drive of beaches and Old Town! Would definitely recommend staying at Eva's House!
  
  What could be improved: Our only request would have been mattress toppers and firmer pillows, but otherwise perfect!

  Beautiful house and garden, ambitiously built. It was a wonderful place to stay, and the landlady was really friendly. The terrace with dun loungers was a delight. A/C was excellent
  
  What could be improved: There were so many switches, it was really hard to work out which lights they operated. It would be helpful to label them. The shower sprayed onto the floor. I struggled to keep the door out to the lovely terrace closed. The finish on the kitchen was poor, bits came off and had to be restuck. We couldn't get the jets working on the hot tub

  Proprietaria gentilissima e disponibile.
  Una casa indipendente molto grande dotata di ogni cosa che possa servire.Biancheria profumata, lavatrice, ferro da stiro, condizionatori.Tre bagni di cui uno dotato di una Jacuzzi doppia.Un solarium spazioso dotato di lettini.
  La posizione non è centralissima ma comunque permette di raggiungere qualsiasi posto in tempi brevi.
  Consigliatissima soprattutto per famiglie che vogliono avere spazi indipendenti e comodi.

  Η τοποθεσία πολύ βολική, το κατάλυμα πολύ ευχάριστο, άνετο, Π Ε Ν Τ Α Κ Α Θ Α Ρ Ο!!!, πολύ καλής ποιότητας κατασκευή με πολλές ανέσεις και πολλές παροχές.

  הבית מאוד גדול ומרווח, יש מגוון גדול של צלחות, סכו"ם, כוסות, כלי ניקוי, מגבות, מצעים, שמיכות. יש הרבה מקום אחסון בבית לרבות חדר ארונות מפואר, הבית נמצא במקום שקט. בסוף רחוב ללא מוצא. יש 4 כיווני אוויר והדירה מתאווררת היטב. יש הרבה חלונות, הבית מואר, מכונת כביסה עם מתלה כביסה, מדיח טוב, תנור אפייה, מזגנים בכל חדר. הבית צבוע כמו חדש. מאוד נוח לשימוש של המשפחה שלנו בת ה5 נפשות.
  כשהייתה תקלה באחת המקלחות, הבעלים הגיעו לתקן במיידי. התקשורת עם חארה הייתה נעימה לאורך כל השהות.
  קיבלנו מיטה נהדרת לתינוקת שלנו וכן ארגז שלם של צעצועים.
  קיימת חצר היקפית מסביב לבית, אפשר לשחק בכדור או משחקי חוץ.
  העיר רודוס במרחק 23 דק נסיעה.

  הג'קוזי לא עובד
  הדלתות חורקות וכך גם הידיות של הדלתות
  אין מדרכות בסביבה ולכן אין אפשרות לצאת (במיוחד עם עגלה) לטיול. באופן כללי לא מצאנו מה לעשות בקירבת מקום.

  Ļoti labi apartamenti ģimenei. Atrašanās vieta, klusā rajonā. Noteikti iesaku nakšņot ar ģimeni. Īpašniece, ļoti atsaucīga un izpalīdzīga.

  Przestronność,dobrze wyposażony, duży taras ( a nawet ich kilka), cisza, spokój, bliskość do piekarni i restauracji. Klimatyzacja w każdej sypialni oraz w salonie.
