You know what struck me first about Eva’s Garden House? It’s tucked away on this quiet side street – Diogenous Street – where you can actually hear the birds in the morning instead of traffic. I mean, you’re still in Ialyssos, so civilization is right there, but Eva’s managed to create this little pocket of calm that honestly feels more like staying at a friend’s really well-appointed guesthouse than a typical hotel.

The whole place has this authentic Greek island vibe without trying too hard, if that makes sense. The garden (and yes, there actually is a proper garden) spills over with bougainvillea and jasmine – you’ll smell it before you see it. Eva herself is usually around during check-in, and she’s one of those hosts who genuinely seems to care whether you find the good bakery down the street or know which beach gets too windy in the afternoons. The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully simple – clean lines, decent air conditioning that actually works, and those little touches like proper reading lights and enough outlets for your stuff. Nothing fancy, but everything you need is there and works properly.

Here’s the thing about the location that the booking sites don’t really capture – you’re about a fifteen-minute walk to the main strip where all the tavernas are, but it’s an easy, flat walk through actual neighborhoods where people live. I loved that part, actually. You pass the local mini-market where the owner will remember your face by day three, and there’s this little family-run place that makes the best spanakopita I had on the whole island. The beach is walkable too, though I’d recommend grabbing one of the bikes Eva has available because it’s more fun and you can explore the coastal path that way. Parking isn’t an issue if you’ve got a rental car – there’s space right outside, which is honestly a relief because some places in this area… well, let’s just say they’re more optimistic about their parking situation. The whole place runs quietly too – good soundproofing between rooms and house rules that actually get followed, so you’re not dealing with party noise at 2 AM. That 9 out of 10 rating? I get it. It’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but it nails what it is trying to be.

  Everything was perfect. The house is very specious and it has everything you need for a perfect holiday. Close to supermarket, bakery and the old town. The owners were very nice and welcoming.

  What could be improved: The main bathroom and the kitchen sink plumbing needs renovation cause they produce a bad smell. Besides that…everything is excellent!!!

  Location was quite okey, you could walk To beach. The supermarket is just next to house.
  
  What could be improved: The minus was that there are several apartments in this house and somebody is living above you, on holiday we would have appreciated privacy.

  Abbiamo apprezzato gli spazi della casa, la cura delle stanze e dei bagni, ottima pulizia e soprattutto posizione molto comoda per raggiungere i punti più famosi di Rodi.

  Konumu çok iyi. Hemen yanında market var. Akşam 8 de kapanıyor. Ama 600 mt yakınında gece açık olan mini marketler mevcut. Merkeze 15dk mesafede. Ev büyük ve konforlu. Temiz ve ihtiyaçlarımızı karşılayacak özellikteydi. Araba için garaj mevcut. Evin arka caddesi otobüs yolu güzergahı. Konum ve olanakları çok iyiydi. Çok memnun kaldık.

  Das Haus ist gross, genug Platz für alle innen und draußen, die Betten und das Sofa sind bequem, alle Räume klimatisiert, große Küche und große Kühlschrank. Einkaufsmöglichkeit 2 Minuten von das Haus entfernt . Das Meer ist wunderschön zu Fuss in 8-10 Minuten entfernt . Die Familie Liami, perfekte Vermietern, sind sehr freundlich, nett und hilfsbereit

  דירה ענקית נקיה מאד מאובזרת חצר גדולה. יש בחורה בשם אווה שנתנה שירות מעל ומעבר. נתנה לנו את הדירה לפני הזמן
