Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels along the Rhodes coast, but Esperos Village Blue really caught me off guard – and I mean that in the best way possible. You know how Faliraki gets this reputation for being all party central with the British holiday crowd? Well, this place sits just far enough up Leoforos Kallitheas that you’re completely removed from that chaos, but honestly, you can still walk down to the main strip if you want some nightlife action. The adults-only thing isn’t just a marketing gimmick here – they’ve actually created this genuinely sophisticated atmosphere where you can hear yourself think by the pool.

The location is pretty clever when you think about it. Most people zoom right past this stretch of road heading toward the busy part of Faliraki, but you’re actually closer to some of the better beaches that locals use. There’s this little cove about ten minutes’ walk away that hardly anyone knows about – the hotel staff will point you in the right direction if you ask. What really sold me on the place was the spa situation. I mean, Greek island spas can be hit or miss, right? But they’ve got this whole setup with treatments that actually incorporate local ingredients, not just the usual generic stuff. The evening I had a massage there, I could smell wild herbs drifting in from the hillside, and honestly, that’s when it clicked that this wasn’t your typical resort experience.

The rooms themselves – well, they’re definitely going for that modern Cycladic vibe, but it works. Clean lines, those brilliant white walls, and the balconies actually have decent privacy, which you don’t always get at these places. Parking was surprisingly easy (always a concern when you’re renting a car to explore the island), and the check-in process was refreshingly quick. I stayed in late September, which turned out to be perfect timing – still warm enough for the pool, but the summer crowds had thinned out considerably. You know what impressed me most? The breakfast actually had local specialties that changed daily, not just the same buffet spread you see everywhere. The staff seemed to genuinely know the area too – they suggested this family taverna up in the hills that I never would have found otherwise, and it ended up being one of my best meals on the island. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between luxury and authenticity on Rhodes, this place nails it without trying too hard.

  Staff were all amazing! Everyone was so polite and attentive to small details—specifically Robin, one of our waiters at the dinner time, always so kind and polite! Definitely deserves a pay rise! We will definitely return in the near future.

  It was vast, diverse, well thought out, guest oriented. The cuisine was of local and international diversity, high quality and standards, the areas of the restaurants were clean and had the most beautiful atmosphere and view.
  
  What could be improved: I guess if it had a direct access to its own private beach but then it would have lost the beauty and view given by its one of a kind topography.

  There was a wide variety of options at breakfast, but I didn’t find the food generally very tasty. I traveled from Turkey, so our food preferences might be different, but overall, the breakfast items were bland and lacked seasoning. However, it was very nice that fruits, fruit juices, and a wide selection of cheeses and cold cuts were available at every meal. Having many options like jams, honey, and similar breakfast spreads was also a pleasant touch. My spouse and I were very satisfied with this trip overall. The weakest point was the cuisine—although there was a lot of variety, it could be better in terms of freshness and flavor. Other than that, I would definitely recommend it.
  
  What could be improved: The food definitely could have been more delicious. In addition, it would have been better if there were more spots in the hotel where guests could take photos and create memories.

  Beautiful setting and extremely helpful staff. The pool areas were lovely and relaxing and always space to get a lounger regardless of time of day.

  The village was amazing! Stunning at every point, and super clean. The staff were all so nice and helpful too. The room with private pool was amazing too, so good to just go outside to your own pool. Amazing food too. Just stunning.
  
  What could be improved: The curtesy room we used before getting our taxi to the airport was very dirty, and it was clear that it had not been cleaned all day since people started using it in the morning. There was a mountain of about 50 used towels in the corner, and wet tissue all under the sink. Based on how amazing and clean everywhere else was, this was a shock and disappointing.

  What could be improved: The internal minibus doesnt make you fill that you are at a luxury resort, although the drivers allways smile and are very friendly, they could have chosen a different internal transport solution.

  Beautiful property up on the hill so fantastic views. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Massage was brilliant and breakfast options were excellent.
  
  What could be improved: The property is not near anything so you need to get a bus or taxi to reach any restaurants. The A La Carte restaurant at the hotel is ok but not 5* and not worth the price. Service at the A La Carte was also poor in comparison to the rest of the hotel.
