Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Emelia Cozy Apartment when I first walked down Ίωνος Δραγούμη street – it’s one of those quieter lanes in Rhodes Town that tourists usually rush past on their way to the medieval walls. But you know what? That’s exactly why this place works so well. You’re literally a three-minute walk from all the Old Town chaos, but when you step inside, it actually feels like you can breathe.

The apartment itself lives up to that “cozy” promise without being cramped, if that makes sense. I mean, it’s not enormous, but whoever set this place up clearly thought about how people actually move through a space. The kitchen has enough room to make proper coffee in the morning (and trust me, you’ll want to – there’s this little kafeneio around the corner where locals grab their morning fix, but having your own setup is clutch). What really got me was the attention to small stuff – decent shower pressure, blackout curtains that actually block the summer sun, and outlets where you need them. The kind of details that make you think someone who travels a lot designed this place.

The location is honestly perfect for exploring Rhodes Town without feeling like you’re camping in the middle of a tourist theme park. You can walk to Sokratous Street for dinner, hit the Palace of the Grand Master when it opens (before the cruise ship crowds descend), then come back and actually relax. And here’s something I didn’t expect – the street is quiet enough at night that you can sleep with windows open, which is huge during those sticky August evenings. Parking can be a bit of an adventure in this part of town, but there’s usually something available on the parallel streets if you’re patient. The whole area comes alive in the early evening when locals start their volta – that leisurely stroll Greeks do before dinner – and you get this genuine neighborhood feel that’s pretty rare in the touristy parts of Rhodes. At a 9.2 rating, it’s clearly not just me who thinks this place has something special going on. It’s the kind of spot where you end up staying longer than planned because it feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in typical accommodation.

  The apartment was perfect! Location,near the beach, harbor,restaurants, old city.Bedrooms clean bed so comfortable. Only thing there was only 1 mirror 😁

  We stayed wkth my friend for 7 days in the apartment. The apartment was big and has all the basic necessities (kitchen, washing machine, stove, fridge etc) to live many days in a row. The location was great. The place had been cleaned properly.
  
  The communication with the owner worked perfectly and he helped me to arrange a taxi and answer amy questions o had during our trip.
  
  Highly recommend this if you want affordable and cozy place. Definitely would stay here again.
  
  What could be improved: The place had mo microwave. While you can heat up everything on the stove, microwave would be a good inclusion in the future.

  George was a great host, met us outside, showed us up to the apartment and gave us recommendations for restaurants / supermarkets etc. The apartment was perfect; large rooms, well furnished, very comfy beds, AC, and in a great location. I would happily return.

  The property has recently been renovated to a high standard. The furniture is modern and stylish. The location of the property is perfect for those who like the beach and want a short walk into the old town.

  It was a really nice flat. The apartment was freshly renovated and you can see the effort the owners put into it. If we had questions or any inconvenience we could always reach them for guidelines or help and they tried to find a solution. The apartment is located near a small street wirh restaurants and you had small shops nearby to get groceries. The building even had an elevator which made it easy with our language to get into the higher floors. Overall we had a great time and would come back to Rhodos next time!

  Very nice appartement in a top location of Rhodos town. Beach, Restaurants and the old town are perfectly reachable by foot.

  The property was clean, new and located perfectly in the center of town. It was close to a lot of restaurants and shops, close walk to the beaches as well as old town Rhodes.
