Honestly, when I first walked up to ELiteDIMension on Filippon Street, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect – the name sounds a bit like a sci-fi movie, right? But this 4-star spot actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked into this residential-feeling part of Rhodes Town where you get that authentic Greek neighborhood vibe, but you’re still close enough to wander over to the Old Town’s medieval walls without breaking a sweat. The building itself has this modern-meets-traditional thing going on that somehow works, and I mean, you know how hit-or-miss that can be.

What really got me was how the staff seemed to actually care about getting the details right. Check-in was smooth (no standing around for twenty minutes like some places), and the front desk guy – I think his name was Dimitris – gave me these spot-on recommendations for dinner that weren’t just the usual tourist traps. The rooms are clean and comfortable, nothing too fancy but everything works properly, which honestly is half the battle sometimes. I stayed on the third floor and could hear the neighborhood coming to life in the mornings – kids heading to school, that sort of thing – but it wasn’t disruptive, more like reassuring background noise. The air conditioning actually keeps up with the summer heat too, which… well, if you’ve been to Rhodes in July, you know that’s not always a given.

Here’s the thing about this place – it sits right in that sweet spot where you’re getting solid value without any nasty surprises. The 7.7 rating makes sense to me; it’s not going to blow your mind, but it does what it promises to do well. You’re a quick walk from Mandraki Harbor where all the day trip boats leave for Lindos or Symi, and there’s this little bakery just around the corner on the next street over that does these incredible spinach pies for breakfast. The hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, but honestly, with all the tavernas within walking distance, you don’t really need one. Parking can be a bit tricky on Filippon Street itself – it’s one of those narrow European streets where everyone sort of figures it out as they go – but there’s usually something available if you don’t mind walking a block or two. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to feel more like I was staying in an actual neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble.

  The apartment has any comfort you might need from a complete kitchen to the laundry machine up until a bath tub in the bedroom! The place is in a residential area which guarantees a local experience including close local grocery shops opened until late night. It is 10-15 minutes Both from the center and from Kallithea beaches.
  
  What could be improved: The neightborood is not super fancy but in Rhodes you need a car anyway.

  Everything was provided and the apartment facilities were very good. There's a good bus service to the port and the old town. The nearby 'super'market met all our food and drink needs. Local area is quiet.
  
  What could be improved: The bed was very low. Only 10 cm from the floor which is not a problem for young people but for less agile people, a bind.
  The lack of windows might also be problem, for some, also the lack of places to hang/dry damp towels.

  Wygodne łóżko, duży prysznic, pralka, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Spokojna okolica i bliskość sklepu oraz apteki.
  
  What could be improved: Trudno uznać to za wielką wadę, ale brakowało mi bardziej stonowanego, delikatniejszego oświetlenia w sypialni.

  Sehr nette zuvorkommende Gastgeberin und Reinigungsfachkraft. Ruhig gelegen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Nähe.
  Lage gut aber wir sind auch gut zu Fuß. Sind bis zur Altstadt ungefähr 40 min zu Fuß.
  sehr gute funktionierende Klimaanlage.
  Fliegengitter an allen Fenster.
  Badewanne im Schlafzimmer auch sehr witzig.
  
  What could be improved: Naja höchstens ein paar Kleinigkeiten aber die haben kein großes Gewicht.
  z.b. etwas wenig Geschirr, Kühlschrank mit ein paar Krümmel vom Vorgänger.
  ist aber alles meckern auf hohem Niveau.
  merkt man nur wenn man wirklich penibel ist.
