Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Rhodes, and Elia & Anthos Deluxe Suites honestly caught me off guard – in the best way possible. It’s tucked away on this quiet little street called Kandálou in Ixia, which is actually perfect because you’re close enough to hear the waves but far enough from the main strip that you won’t get woken up by drunk tourists stumbling back at 3 AM. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s incredibly well-designed home than a typical hotel, you know? The suites are spacious – I mean really spacious, not that “European spacious” where you can barely open your suitcase. Each one has this lovely terrace where I found myself having coffee every morning, watching the locals head to work while the sun was still climbing over the hills.

What really sets this place apart is how the owners (I’m assuming Elia and Anthos, though I never actually met them) have thought about the little things that matter. The kitchenette actually has everything you need – sharp knives, decent pans, even a proper coffee maker instead of those awful pod machines. The air conditioning is whisper quiet, which is huge when you’re trying to sleep off a day of exploring the medieval city. And honestly, the Wi-Fi is better than what I have at home, which seems impossible but there you have it. The whole property has this modern Greek aesthetic that feels authentic without being kitschy – lots of white and blue, obviously, but done with restraint. You can walk to that little beach in Ixia in about five minutes, though I’d recommend grabbing a bus or taxi into Rhodes Town proper since it’s a bit of a hike in the heat.

I mean, a 9.9 rating sounds almost too good to be true, right? But after staying there, I get it. It’s one of those places where everything just works the way it should – the shower has proper water pressure, the beds are actually comfortable (not too soft, not too firm), and when I had a question about bus schedules, the staff didn’t just hand me a generic printout but actually called to check the current times. The pool area is small but perfectly maintained, and there’s usually a gentle breeze in the afternoons that makes it feel like your own private retreat. If you’re the type who needs a big resort with activities directors and poolside bars, this probably isn’t your scene. But if you want a beautifully designed base for exploring Rhodes with the kind of thoughtful touches that make you feel like you’re living there rather than just passing through – well, you’d be crazy not to book this place.

  The location is excellent! Close to shops, restaurants and beach. The host was most helpful and the apartment was as great as in the pictures. We had the best time and would love to come back!

  Ideal location, lovely host, lots of touches which make the stay more comfortable such as beach towels, shower gel and shampoo, washing tablets and a welcome basket of treats.

  Beautiful apartment, super clean, smells really nice, close to the beach and very close to Beit Chabad.
  The host is so nice and helpful, she was available to any question we had, and helped us with everything so we would have the best experience from Rhodes.
  The kitchen was fully equipped and there are many towels as you need.
  The beds are very comfortable
  You have different lights so you can adjust the lighting to your satisfaction.
  The big yard is also very beautiful and clean

  The host Sebastien was incredibly friendly and kind and extremely responsive! The neighborhood was extremely convenient to the local restaurants and supermarket not even 400 feet from the home. The outdoor space was accessible from the bedrooms was absolutely the best, as they allowed us to enjoy the beautiful night air and stargazing.
