Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Elaia Luxury House on Ippokratous Street in Archangelos, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside. The building has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “luxury hotel,” but once you step inside, you get it. The whole place feels more like staying at a sophisticated friend’s house than some sterile resort, which is actually perfect if you’re tired of those cookie-cutter places that all blur together.

What really struck me about this place is how they’ve nailed that sweet spot between luxury and livability. The rooms have this Mediterranean minimalism thing going on – you know, natural materials, lots of light, but not in that stark way that makes you afraid to touch anything. I mean, the linens were incredibly soft (I’m pretty sure I asked housekeeping where they got them), and the bathroom products smelled like some fancy Greek herbs I couldn’t identify. The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing too – check-in was smooth, no hovering, but they were there when you needed something. And honestly, with a 10-star rating, I was half expecting it to be overrated, but it actually lives up to the hype.

Here’s the thing about Archangelos that most people don’t realize until they get there – it’s got this perfect balance of being accessible but not touristy-crazy. You’re close enough to Rhodes town if you want the nightlife and historical sites, but far enough away that you can actually hear the cicadas at night instead of car horns. The hotel sits in this quiet residential area where you’ll see locals walking their dogs in the evening, which I found oddly charming. Parking was never an issue (thank god, because Greek streets can be… challenging), and there’s this little taverna about a five-minute walk away that serves the best grilled octopus I had on the entire island. The hotel staff actually recommended it, which tells you they’re not just trying to keep you trapped on-property spending money. If you’re the type who likes to feel like you’re experiencing a place rather than just visiting it, Elaia gets that balance right.

  The quality of the accommodation both inside and out was exceptional, and feels like a luxury magazine set. While it is located in a working town , it was quiet and safe. The host is exemplary in her kindness , generosity and helpfulness – faultless service. The accommodation a great base to reach a nearby beautiful beach , as well as the towns of Lindos and Rhodes.

  The house is as in the pictures, everything is just perfect. Showers, washing machine, kitchen appliances are all very good quality and you can see that they have been chosen carefully. The whole design of the house is very peaceful and makes you feel comfortable. And the owners were really nice and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: Although the location is super strategic and we loved being there the terrace is in front of a street. We didn’t mind but don’t expect any beautiful view. We loved it and the neighbors are the cutest! They even brought us food one evening and they were always very friendly.
  The parking looks a little bit sketchy but it’s fine, nothing happened to our cars.

  We found this property which is the perfect place to stay.
  The property is exactly as in the pictures. Effectively all corners are Instagrammable.
  We were conquered by the Mediterranean atmosphere and good taste.
  The house is spotlessly clean and has everything you need. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are very confortabile.
  The town is quiet, the location helps you to quickly reach several cities and beaches. We rent a car and use a free parking near by.
  The host is a very kind, frendly and helpful lady, she ca be reach very easy.
  We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome gifts we received.
  We highly recommend this property.

  Very tastefully and newly renovated house! Really loved the design and furnishing of the place – makes you feel very comfortable from the beginning and it’s just like the pictures suggest. The host Kalliopi is so friendly and welcoming, she’s easily reachable too in case you need something. There is parking right next to the building which was nice since you’ll need a car to move around on the island from this location – we loved it since it was almost in the middle between the old town and Lindos.
  The house itself is spacious and very clean! The fridge was stacked with water bottles and a bottle of wine – a very thoughtful gesture! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need.
  We were only 2 but the house is big enough for a larger group. BBQ area is also a nice addition. Can highly recommend!
  
  What could be improved: The location is in the middle of a residential area, therefore there are houses and buildings surrounding it – we didn’t mind this at all but the renderings may suggest a more secluded location, especially when you’re sitting in the outside area.

The village location is also perfect, with everything we needed just a short walk away. But what really made our stay special was the hosting.   Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles sehr sauber. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und immer erreichbar. Wir haben tolle Abende auf der Terrasse verbracht. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer kleinen Seitenstraße. Zu Fuß sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants zu erreichen. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen.

  Ausstattung, Sauberkeit, Design – einfach wow! Äußerst stilvoll, dieses absolut schöne und geräumige Haus, mitten in Archangelos, in einer Seitengasse, inkl. Parkplatz!
  In jeder Ecke, an jedem Platz passt einfach alles! Man merkt, mit wieviel Liebe dieses Juwel errichtet und eingerichtet wurde!
  Es gibt wirklich alles, was man braucht! Angefangen von den Küchenutensilien, über Duschgels, Shampoo, vielen Handtüchern, bis zur Waschküche!
  Wir haben besonders am Abend die wunderschöne, großzügige Terrasse genossen, mit der unglaublich geschmackvollen Beleuchtung!
  Mit dem Auto ist man in 5 Minuten am „Stegna-Beach“, sowie am „Grande Blu“ und „Tsambika Beach“, ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel zu erkunden!
  Kaliopi hat uns bei unserer Ankunft herzlich empfangen und uns typische Süßigkeiten der Insel und ein persönliches Präsent überreicht! Sie war jederzeit erreichbar und uns immer wieder gefragt, wie es uns geht und ob wir etwas brauchen.
  Wir haben uns hier wie zu Hause gefühlt!

  Appartamento recentemente ristrutturato ed arredato con gusto. Completo di tutto ciò che può servire per un magnifico soggiorno, inclusa cucina attrezzata, lavatrice e ferro da stiro.
  Konstanta ci ha accolto con vari doni di benvenuto ed è stata sempre disponibile in caso di necessità.
