Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from another all-inclusive resort on Rhodes – you know how they can be, right? But Eden Roc actually surprised me. The moment you pull up on Kalithea Avenue (parking’s pretty straightforward, by the way), you realize this place sits in one of the most gorgeous spots on the island. I mean, Kallithea itself is already stunning with those famous thermal springs nearby, but the resort somehow manages to feel both grand and relaxed at the same time.

What really got me was how they’ve designed the place around the natural coastline – the pools sort of cascade down toward the sea, and there’s this wonderful mix of sun and shade throughout the property. The staff actually knows your name after a day or two, which is rare for a place this size. You’ll find the restaurants genuinely varied (not just the usual buffet situation), and honestly, the Greek night they do on Thursdays is worth timing your stay around. The local musicians they bring in aren’t just going through the motions – they’re having fun, and it shows. One thing I appreciated was how quiet it gets in the evenings; even during peak summer season, there’s something about the layout that keeps noise levels reasonable.

Here’s what locals don’t always tell you about this part of Rhodes – you’re perfectly positioned to explore both the medieval Old Town (about 15 minutes by car) and some of the island’s best beaches that tourists often miss. The resort’s beach is lovely, but if you rent a scooter, you can hit Tsambika or Anthony Quinn Bay without dealing with the crowds from the busier hotels further south. The concierge, Maria, actually gave us directions to this tiny taverna in Afandou that we never would’ve found otherwise – that’s the kind of insider knowledge that makes a difference. Sure, it’s not perfect (the WiFi gets spotty near the pools, and check-in can be slow during changeover days), but there’s something genuinely welcoming about Eden Roc that goes beyond just the beautiful setting. You end up feeling like you’ve discovered a little corner of Rhodes that actually gets what hospitality should be about.

  Everything was amazing, special thanks for the whole stuff for their kindness and care! The restraurants were amazing, just like the foods. We have been upgraded to a room with sea view, which was stunning! The beach was really near with many activites and boat trip options.

  Such an amazing experience!
  I have to say that all the staff at the hotel was welcoming and very kind but The reception team is extraordinary!they were amazing! I’m pregnant with a little baby and they helped us so much and they were just so kind to us!
