Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Rhodes, but Dimitra Faliraki Center Apartments actually surprised me – and honestly, that 9.7 rating isn’t just inflated review nonsense. You know how some places look great online but then you show up and it’s… well, disappointing? This isn’t one of those places. The location right next to Iras Street puts you smack in the middle of everything without being on top of the main strip where drunk tourists stumble around at 3 AM. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from all the bars and restaurants, but when you close your apartment door, it’s actually quiet enough to sleep.

What really got me was how the owner clearly gets what travelers need. The apartments aren’t huge – I mean, this isn’t a luxury resort – but everything works properly, which is more than I can say for half the places I’ve crashed in Greece. The air conditioning doesn’t sound like a dying helicopter, the shower has decent water pressure (seriously underrated until you don’t have it), and there’s enough space to actually unpack your stuff instead of living out of a suitcase for a week. The kitchen setup is pretty solid too – you can make a proper breakfast or heat up those amazing souvlaki leftovers from the night before. And honestly? The beds are comfortable, which sounds basic but you’d be shocked how many places get this wrong.

The area itself is perfect if you want that classic Faliraki energy without completely losing your mind. You’re close enough to walk to the beach – maybe five minutes if you’re not dragging your feet – and all the good tavernas are right there. There’s this little bakery around the corner that does incredible tyropita in the mornings (the owner probably thinks I’m obsessed because I went there every day), and the mini-market nearby has everything you need without tourist markup prices. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season – well, parking anywhere in Faliraki is tricky in July and August – but it’s manageable if you’re not rolling in at midnight expecting a spot right outside. The whole setup just works, you know? It’s one of those places where you settle in on day one and don’t spend the rest of your vacation wishing you’d booked somewhere else. For the price point and location, it’s honestly hard to beat, especially if you want the independence of an apartment but don’t want to be stuck out in the middle of nowhere.

  Dimitra apartment is a newly renovated apartment with everything you need for a great holiday. Rooms are spacious, with modern furniture, comfy beds (one room has 2 single beds with softer mattress and the other one has a double bed with firm mattress) and well-equipped kitchen (complimentary coffee&water and even a bottle of wine upon arrival). Both rooms have smart TV (Netflix), AC and one of the room has a mini “living room area”with a pull out couch and a coffee table. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Bathroom has a plenty of hot water and a good pressure shower. AC worked well and wifi was strong. Seaview from the big balcony was a nice surprise. Communication with the host was friendly and quick. Check in was easy. The location is absolutely perfect. So close to the beach, supermarkets, good restaurants and to the main street as well. Bus stop and taxi area is nearby as well so you can explore the island easily. Despite the vicinity to the main street you still experience a quiet night. Faliraki is a lively place so the right location is very important. Dimitra apartment has it all.
  Windows shutters keep the rooms quiet and dark so you can have a restful sleep. Highly recommended accommodation. Hope we can come back next year. Thank you Vasilis

  If you thought you wouldn't find the Colossus on Rhodes, you were wrong. Dimitra apartment is a real Colossus from Rhodes. The apartments are completely new and there is no better location in Faliraki where you can stay than Dimitra Apartments.

  Everything was perfect. We had a great holiday. Vasilis was very welcoming and receptive to all our requests. The property is very clean , with a good location at about 3 minutes walk from Faliraki sandy beach. Supermarket just around the corner. Taverna with grilled fresh fish and greek menu just across the street. Ice cream shop. 5-10 minutes walking distance from Faliraki center. We strongly recommend

  The location was very close to the beach (2 min walk) and right next to the street with a lot of bars, clubs, and restaurants.
  The apartment was exceptionally clean, fully equipped with AC, coffeemaker, big tv, and whatnot..
  You have total privacy, even if there is a door dividing the two apartments. The reason for that is if you go with family or friends to book two apartments.
  For the price and location, I don't think there is a better option in Faliraki.
  
  What could be improved: In the beginning, I was skeptical about the door dividing the two apartments, but you have total privacy since it is as soundproof as a wall.
