Hotel Description

Look, I’ll be straight with you about Cyprotel Faliraki – it’s one of those places that gets the job done without trying to be something it’s not. You know what I mean? When I first pulled up (parking’s actually pretty decent, by the way), it had that solid, no-nonsense vibe that reminded me why I keep coming back to Rhodes. The lobby’s got this comfortable, lived-in feel – not fancy, but honestly, after a day wandering around the medieval town or getting sand between your toes at Anthony Quinn Bay, fancy isn’t what you’re looking for anyway.

Here’s the thing about staying in Faliraki that a lot of people don’t realize until they’re actually here – you’re perfectly positioned between the crazy party scene and the quieter family spots, and Cyprotel sits right in that sweet spot where you can walk to both. I mean, if you want to hit up the strip with all the bars and clubs, it’s a ten-minute stroll, but when you want to escape back to your room, you’re far enough away that you can actually sleep. The rooms themselves are… well, they’re hotel rooms, you know? Clean, air-conditioned (thank god), and the balconies give you a decent view depending on which side you’re on. I actually got lucky with a partial sea view, though honestly, you’ll spend most of your time down by the pool or out exploring anyway.

What really works about this place is how it feels authentically Greek without being touristy – the staff actually seems to care, which isn’t always a given in resort areas. The breakfast spread is solid (proper Greek yogurt, fresh bread, decent coffee), and there’s something nice about eating outside in the morning before the day gets too hot. You’re also close enough to walk down to Kalithea Springs if you’re into that sort of historical swimming spot thing, or catch the bus to Lindos – the stop’s literally around the corner. I wouldn’t call Cyprotel Faliraki a destination hotel, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want. It’s a comfortable base that doesn’t break the bank, run by people who know what they’re doing, in a spot where you can actually experience Rhodes instead of just staying at a resort. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the whole place has this relaxed energy that just works – maybe it’s the Greek sun, maybe it’s being steps from some of the clearest water in the Mediterranean, but honestly, I left feeling like I’d actually been on vacation instead of just staying at a hotel.

great location, always a good program, very delicious food and very friendly personal

What could be improved: when we booked a ticket there was a fitness room but when we arrived we didn't find anything. The animation team for children should do more activities during the day not just look after children.

  • Lotta from Finland – 20 October 2024 (8/10)

My vacation was really good. Children aged 2×3, 12 and 14 included. The rooms were clean and functional. Nice swimming areas, during the day there was a good program and in the evening different performances.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The entertainment team was amazing. At dinner/lunch I wondered about the employees standing at the door, sometimes they served something but very often I saw them just scrolling through their phones. And as a rule, they only say hello if they are greeted first. Hopefully, the replacement employees are in some other job.

What could be improved: My 12-year-old son was upset because the activities were too long for either smaller children or adults. I would have liked to join many, but I wasn't old enough. Maybe teenagers could also be considered for different competitions.

The location of the hotel is a bit to the side. There is a bus from the hotel to the beach. But in the evening it would be nice to go for a walk in the "center", but it would almost require a taxi ride because of small children.

  • Jade from Canada – 15 September 2024 (7/10)

The pools where nice with toddler. The kitchen and cleaning staff were nice and super helpful. Same with the reception lady she was nice and answered all our questions. There was a lot of food and easy access to kids the moment she was hungry. There were also a lot of options. It was easy to travel to Rhodes by bus and go to the beach

What could be improved: We didn't feel welcome with a toddler (17 month). I even heard some of the animateur complaints about kids in general .We got a room on top of the hill top of stairs with a toddler… It was a bit hard to go to the pool and use all the facilities. There was no changing table anywhere. I'm sure it's a nice place to stay for a party or parents with older kids.

  • Arash from United Kingdom – 10 September 2024 (6/10)

The room was very spacious. The location of the hotel was quite good, being close to Faliraki Beach, which made it convenient for beach trips. The highlight of our stay was definitely the evening performances. The shows were very well done, and the performers were highly professional. We thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment each night.

What could be improved: The quality of the food was quite disappointing. Not only was the food below expectations, but the drinks were of very low quality as well, including both soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. The cocktails, in particular, were like sugary syrup and tasted very poor. This was a major letdown during our

  • Zohar from Israel – 25 August 2024 (8/10)

Perfect place for family with childrens. Many attractions.
Very good and clean pools. Near Faliraki Center. Train for childrens to the town.

What could be improved: WIFI was problematic and very slow.

  • L from United Kingdom – 19 August 2024 (8/10)

Lots of entertainment for the kids.

  • Andrey from Israel – 3 August 2023 (8/10)
