You know what struck me first about City Heart Luxury Studios? The name actually makes sense – and that’s rare these days. I mean, you’re literally in the beating heart of Rhodes Town on Ethnarchou Makariou, which honestly is one of those streets that sounds intimidating until you realize it’s just the main drag that gets you everywhere. The moment I walked in, there was this immediate sense of “oh, they actually thought this through.” The lobby has this warm, lived-in luxury feel – not the sterile marble-and-gold situation you get at some places that try too hard. What really got me was how quiet it felt despite being surrounded by the buzz of the old town. I was half-expecting street noise all night, but the studios are set back just enough, and the windows are proper double-glazed. Smart.

The studios themselves are where this place really shines, and I’m someone who’s stayed in way too many “luxury” places that turn out to be regular rooms with fancy soap. These actually feel like someone’s stylish apartment – there’s a kitchenette that you’d actually use (not just a mini-fridge and a coffee maker calling itself a kitchen), decent counter space, and honestly, the bed situation is spot-on. The whole setup works whether you’re here for three days or three weeks. What I loved was the little details – proper hangers, enough outlets near the bed, a shower that actually has pressure. The kind of stuff that matters when you’re living somewhere, not just sleeping there. And the cleaning staff clearly knows what they’re doing because everything felt fresh without that overwhelming chemical smell some places have.

Location-wise, you’re about a five-minute walk to the medieval city walls, but here’s the thing locals know – you’re positioned perfectly to avoid the cruise ship crowds that flood the main tourist drag every morning. Duck down toward Mandraki Harbor and you’ve got the real Rhodes experience, with cafes where people actually live here year-round. Parking can be tricky in this area (it’s Greece, parking’s always an adventure), but the hotel staff actually knows the neighborhood and will point you toward the spots that don’t turn into tourist traps during high season. I stayed in September, which is honestly the sweet spot – warm enough for swimming, but the summer madness has died down. The 9.7 rating isn’t inflated marketing nonsense; it’s what happens when a place gets the fundamentals right and adds just enough personality to make you want to come back. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re staying somewhere with character rather than just booking a bed, this is your place.

  The location was fantastic. Everything was within walking distance. Plenty of cafes and restaurants even in the off season. Our host, Nektaria, was extremely welcoming and happy to provide advice and support. A special mention is that she provided a lot of food such as yogurt, cheese, drinks, water, bread, biscuits, sweets, and a bottle of white wine. This is exceptional service in my opinion.

  the suite is beautiful, spacious and very clean. perfect balcony to the city center. lots of yummy things in the fridge, cupboard and wine on the table.

  Nektaria is a thoughtful, sweet, kind and professional host that went above and beyond- everything from the pick up at the (Kolona) non-tourist port, to the plethora of snacks, assisting with rental car company (MARATHON <– BEST. allows pick up in town and drop off at Rhodes airport for a small fee:) YW), unexpected and lovely toiletries and amenities, and SPOTLESS apartment.
  Overall apartment- SPACIOUS and Modern. Perfect for our 5 night stay. The apt is exactly how described in photos.
  Location- right in the center of Rhodes town. 10 min walk to the Mandraki port. If arriving from Kolona, Nektaria will help you pre-arrange a taxi. Do not wait until you arrive to call a taxi.
  All shops, restaurants are outside your door. Walk to OLD town is about 10 mins. Easy and flat walk.
  Bathroom- along with all the amenities, i was surprised that even w/ the half shower wall, the water didn't go all over the floor. Nektaria stocks you up very well with extra towels! There was always HOT water!
  Washing Machine- one of the main reasons we booked her place. Drying racks provided!
  Kitchen- spotless. All amenities you need and then some. Nekataria was GENEROUS with snacks and water! We did not need to buy anything extra. Excellent appliances small and large. There was always HOT water!
  Bed- comfortable. Loved that she added a mattress pad/topper for added comfort.
  Parking- free street parking in front of apt. Being downtown, it can be tricky to find. TIP: parking before 8am, after 2-3pm and after 8-9pm. WE never had an issue finding parking as we would be at the beach in the southern part of Rhodes and then return in the evening.
  Balcony- loved the large and spacious, people watching patio!
  Apt is on first floor- you still need to either take stairs or use the elevator. We always opted to take stairs.

  It was an incredible experience. Special thanks Nektaria for the service (especially for the wine, water and goodies left for us). Everything was at the highest level. The location of the apartments is very convenient – close to the Elli beach and the Rhodes old town. The apartment was clean and had everything you needed. There are many free parking spaces nearby (which is also no less important if you rent a car).
  
  What could be improved: There was a little weak water pressure, but it did not spoil the overall impression.

  Most importantly the central bus station is not even 2 minutes from the apartment and the buses there go everywhere for way less time than google maps shows or even has (Please make sure to ask the central station for buses since google maps does not every bus data collected, bus going every few minutes from there).
  The fruits, yoghurt and the juice in the fridge left for the guest. It was very clean and the balcony was really nice to be at.

  Highly recommended. Very comfortable and satisfying stay. Clean, modern and quiet facility within short walking distance from ferry port, restaurants, grocery stores, and sightseeing locations.   excellent location of the apartment, in the heart of the city. The beach is 10 minutes walk, we did not use the car. Good soundproofing, air conditioning, a balcony with a beautiful view of the city. Perfect cleanliness, there is everything you need during your stay to feel at home. The hostess, a friendly and good-natured woman, also left us a compliment in the form of fruits, croissants, coffee, tea, water and juice, which is very useful after a long journey.
