Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about City Center Elite Suite? It’s actually tucked away on this quiet little street – Íonos Dragoúmi – that most tourists walk right past, but honestly, that’s exactly what makes it perfect. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the buzzing main squares and all those tourist restaurants, but when you step onto this street, it’s like someone turned down the volume on Rhodes Town.

The building itself has this understated elegance that I wasn’t expecting from the photos online. It’s not trying too hard, if you know what I mean – just solid, well-maintained, with these beautiful traditional stone details that blend right into the old town’s character. The suites (and they really are proper suites, not just hotel rooms with fancy names) have these gorgeous high ceilings and windows that actually open wide – which is huge when you’re dealing with those warm Rhodes evenings. I stayed there in late September, and honestly, the cross-breeze was so good I barely needed the AC. The owner clearly knows the building’s quirks because everything just works smoothly – from the surprisingly quiet plumbing to the Wi-Fi that actually reaches every corner.

What really sets this place apart though is how it sits in the neighborhood. You’ve got Mandraki Harbor just down the hill – perfect for those early morning walks when the fishing boats are coming in and the whole waterfront smells like coffee and sea salt. And here’s something the guidebooks don’t tell you: there’s this little bakery about two blocks away on Ethnikis Antistaseos that opens at 6 AM with the most incredible spinach pies. The front desk guy (super helpful, speaks perfect English) actually recommended it, which tells you something about how they think about their guests’ experience. Parking can be tricky in this part of town – well, it’s tricky everywhere in the old town honestly – but they’ve got arrangements with a nearby lot that saves you from driving in circles. The whole check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, none of that overly formal hotel theater. Just genuine hospitality from people who seem to actually care whether you have a good stay. I’ve stayed in fancier places that felt more anonymous, but this one gets the balance right between professional service and that personal touch that makes you want to come back.

  We had a great time at city centre elite. The host was very helpful and answered any queries we had straight away. The location was amazing and wasn't far to walk to old town and the beach with 3 kids in tow. Highly recommend the restaurant under neath the apartment. Lovely food and atmosphere
  
  What could be improved: Some more saucepans would of been handy if i had planned on doing cooking. There was just the one large one which had an awkward handle

  Great location and best service with extremely friendly owner. Very nice and cosy apartment in the center of Rhodes town. All best restaurants and shops are in walking distance, old town is 5 min walk from apartment, beach is 5 min away by walk. Next to this place there is great spa salon with the best massage ever. Owner of the place George is extremely helpful, he is always in touch with you, arranged us transfer to airport, advised us good restaurant. We are absolutely in love with service. Definitely will stay here again

  The host is great. The kitchen has what you need.
  We went in Rhodes off season (March), so most of the activities were closed in both the old and new town and I think the position of this property is a good position as still some activities were open and you are close to both the sea, the shops and the old town.
  
  What could be improved: Not a criticism but a suggestion: in the bathroom it could be added a shelf or cabinet to put things on 🙂

  Fantastic location. Walking distance to everything you need in rhodes. Apartment is clean, beautiful and perfect for a family. Host was super nice and helpful. There is a lift in the complex which is helpful when you have bags. Highly recommend this stay for families.

  TThe experience was amazing! George is amazing! The apartment looks exactly like the photos and even more, I was surprised by the size of it! You get two big rooms, one with quinn sized bed and the other with two beds of 120 centimeters. The kitchen is wonderful with all the tools you need, and George even got us some groceries and a bottle of wine to start. We got everything we asked for. We wanted a safe to put our belongings in, so George went and bought a safe especially for us. The apartment was very clean and the bathroom is outstanding. It took us a while to get used to the city and navigate in it, but after we did we realized how truly great is the location of the apartment. A walk distance from The Old City and the beach with the 6 meters jumper. I suggest to pin points in Google maps before you leaving and navigate with it for starts.
  Overall the experience was amazing, truly fun, and for the price you pay for the apartment you really won't get a better deal anywhere else.

  The apartment had everything you could need and was extremely spacious. The location was fantastic and was a short walk to everything. Best of all the location was quiet. However it is mindful to note that the apartment is right next door to the church bell tower. Whilst we absolutely loved this and found the bell chiming amazing, it is very loud.
