You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Chrysanthi Villa – honestly, the drive down that winding Eparchiaki Odos from Pylona had me wondering if I’d made a mistake booking something so far from the main Rhodes action. But the moment I stepped out of the car, I got it. The place sits right in this sweet spot where you’re genuinely surrounded by nature (they’re not kidding with that “Living in Nature” part), but you’re still close enough to Vlicha Beach that you can hear the waves if you listen carefully.

The villa itself feels like someone’s well-loved family retreat that just happens to accept guests. I mean, everything’s been thoughtfully maintained – none of that sterile hotel vibe you get at some places. The owner clearly knows the area inside and out, and you’ll pick up all sorts of local intel just chatting with them during check-in. They pointed me toward this tiny taverna about ten minutes down the road that I never would’ve found otherwise, and honestly, it ended up being one of my best meals on the island. What really struck me was how quiet it gets here in the evenings – you’re far enough from the main Lindos tourist chaos that you actually get proper silence, broken only by cicadas and the occasional goat bell from the hillside. The rooms have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake, and the beds are actually good (I’m picky about mattresses, so this matters).

Parking’s easy, which is more than I can say for most places around Rhodes, and the whole setup just works without any fuss. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be some flashy resort, it’s just doing everything right in a way that feels effortless. If you’re the type who needs to be within walking distance of shops and restaurants, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want to actually unwind somewhere that feels authentically Greek, where you can sit on your terrace in the morning with proper coffee and listen to the countryside waking up, then yeah, this is exactly what you’re looking for. Just don’t expect to stumble back from late-night bar crawls – you’ll want to rent a car or be comfortable with taxis for evening adventures.

  Absolute heaven! We stayed in Chrysanthi on our recent honeymoon in Rhodes and so glad we did. This place is pure blissful relaxation. Nestled in peaceful countryside but still in reachable distance to shops, restaurants, taverna and local attractions.
  Pantelis is such a great host and offered helpful information as well as wonderful welcome treats and local snacks.
  The accommodation is beautifully decorated and has everything needed to make your stay feel homely and relaxed. The outdoor terrace with bbq is fabulous and such a lovely area to just chill in the evening. The swimming pool is exceptionally clean and was very welcomed with the 30 degree midday heat.
  
  Would highly recommend booking Chrysanthi and we hope to return again soon.

  What a fabulous villa, truly in nature, so peaceful and quiet. Only 5 mins by car to nearby Lindos, Kalathos, Vlicha, with lots beautiful beaches, places to eat. The villa is situated on the outskirts of the village of Pilonas, it is walkable and they have a local village shop. There is a well stocked supermarket a few mins down the road by car. We loved the good size pool, all having our own bathrooms and the quality of the villa. We always drove out for dinner, but one night, our daughter, a chef, cooked a delicious bbq using the outside kitchen, which we very much enjoyed. Finally the owner, Pantelis, was so helpful with anything we needed and made our stay hugely comfortable. We definitely hope to book again!

  Beautiful villa, lovely location. As it says living in nature, only sounds of wildlife and visits from the local deer. Exceptionally clean. Wonderful pool. Excellent facilities, BBQ, washing machine and dishwasher. Pantelis the host was very helpful and kind, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend
  
  What could be improved: Not a criticism just an opinion. Due to location of the villa would need a car. Large villa 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, not ideal for very young g children due to bedroom layout. 1 bedroom is a mezzanine over main lounge, could get very hot despite the aircon in the lounge and no head height. 2 bedrooms are located downstairs by pool via external stairs. As we had a 6 and 2 year old they could not sleep alone so parents had to split themselves. As I said not a criticism just we found the logistics of sleeping arrangements a little difficult.

  The villa was situated in its own surroundings with nothing around apart from nature. The whole experience of this villa was outstanding from the stunning pool to the villa itself. Even Pantelis, the host, went beyond what was expected. The villa it's self was very spacious with nice size bedrooms and a fully loaded kitchen area and living space with wifi and TV. Downstairs by the pool area, you had the BBQ and skink area along with a nice seating area and table for late night dining.
  I could go on and on but this one speaks for itself.
  
  What could be improved: There was nothing we didn't we dint like. We had one small technical problem with a loo but was rectified immediately. 100% satisfied customer.

  Very clean and well maintained. Excellent location that really makes you feel like you’re living in nature. Last but not least, the host was incredibly attentive and responsive, and even came to the beach bar twice to bring us a few belongings that we left at the house!

  Amazing villa and very accommodating, kind and professional host. We had everything we needed in a such a beautiful place. Location was perfect with a beautiful view of the mountains, no neighbors nearby. Perfect option for a group of friends. 5 min away the city center with shops, bars and restaurants. Definitely recommend!

  A M A Z I N G!! the host is super nice and kind. The villa is equipped with all necessary facilities you can think of. Every bedroom has a toilet and a bath. The pool is divine, and the silence from the surrounding nature is beyond. We had an unforgettable experience in rhodos at the villa.
  
  What could be improved: one bathroom had a small drain issue, but the host took care of it. you cannot go to the villa without a car.

  Remote location and thus quiet outside. Villa itself is newly renovated and the pool is very nice.
  
  What could be improved: Various plumbing issues, to the extent that we were not able to shower comfortably throughout the stay, and very thin walls means that you can even hear someone talking in the next room.
