So I’ve stayed at Christina Dream Village a few times now, and honestly, it’s one of those places that gets better each visit. The location in Pastida is actually perfect if you know Rhodes – you’re about 10 minutes from the airport (which sounds terrible but you barely hear planes), and maybe 15 minutes to Rhodes town if you rent a car. The thing is, Pastida itself is this quiet village where you’ll see more locals than tourists, which I mean, that’s kind of the whole point of coming here.

The hotel sits on this hill overlooking everything, and when I say everything, I mean you can see the coastline, the village below, and on clear days you can make out Turkey in the distance. The rooms are spacious – not just “hotel spacious” but actually spacious, with these little terraces that face either the sea or the village. I always ask for a sea view because, well, why wouldn’t you? The pools are what really get me though. There’s the main one that’s always got families during the day, but then there’s this quieter one tucked away where you can actually read a book without kids splashing around. The staff remembers you after like two days, which is refreshing – they’ll start making your coffee the way you like it without asking.

What surprised me the first time was how good the food actually is. I mean, hotel food is usually hotel food, you know? But they do this Greek night once a week with local musicians, and the chef clearly knows what he’s doing. The breakfast spread is huge – proper Greek yogurt, local honey, fresh bread that’s still warm. You know what though, the real gem is being so close to authentic tavernas in the village. There’s this place called Dimitri’s (just ask anyone in Pastida) where the moussaka is incredible and you’ll pay half what you’d pay in Rhodes town. The hotel shuttle runs to the beach at Faliraki a few times a day, but honestly, I usually just drive – parking’s never an issue and you’re not tied to their schedule. The beach at Tsambika is only 20 minutes away and it’s way less crowded than the main tourist spots. Christina Dream Village feels like you’re staying somewhere special without the pretentious resort vibe, and with a 9 rating, clearly other people are figuring this out too.

  Absolutely fantastic – the owner is super lovely and accommodating, the space is very clean, and the pool and surrounds are impressive. The buildings are very unique. There’s everything you need in the room, and the terrace is a very pretty place to sit at. There’s a couple of great restaurants nearby and a supermarket also, and it’s close to the airport.   Spanakopita and feta cheese from the breakfast.
  Also a great Greek's food taverna beside of the place for having lovely and tasty traditional cuisine.
  
  BTW – Super cosy and friendly family business, super convenient located.

  Staff were very friendly. The room was nice and it was overall value for money as we booked quite last minute. Bed was comfy.
  
  What could be improved: The location is a bit remote and you need to have a car to move around. It would be nice to renovate some common areas.

  Great buffet for breakfast, a nice room with balcony, a pool and a lot of games in their garden, the staff is lovely, near almost at everything with a rented car in 15 – 20 minutes.
