Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Celestial Lindos Suites? It’s tucked away in Krana – which honestly, most people have never heard of even though it’s literally walking distance from the main Lindos village. I mean, you get all the charm without the cruise ship crowds that absolutely swarm the main square during peak season.

The suites themselves are actually impressive for a 4-star place. I’ve stayed in plenty of so-called boutique hotels that feel like they just slapped some fancy pillows on basic rooms, but this place gets the details right. The stone work feels authentic (because it is), and they’ve managed to blend traditional Rhodian architecture with modern comforts without making it feel forced. What really sold me was the terrace situation – most rooms have these private or semi-private outdoor spaces where you can actually see the Acropolis of Lindos perched up on that dramatic cliff. It’s not like you’re squinting through power lines to catch a glimpse, either. The view is legit.

Here’s the thing about the location that the booking sites don’t really capture: you’re close enough to walk into Lindos proper in about ten minutes (maybe fifteen if you’re taking your time and stopping for photos), but far enough removed that you’re not dealing with the restaurant noise and late-night bar crowds. The walk itself is actually pretty pleasant – you’ll pass some local tavernas that the day-trippers never find, and there’s this little grocery shop about halfway where you can grab decent coffee and pastries in the morning. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle during July and August (like everywhere else around here), but the hotel staff actually knows the area well enough to give you real advice, not just vague directions. The whole operation feels professionally run – check-in was smooth, housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and they seem to genuinely care about the guest experience rather than just going through the motions. I’d definitely come back, especially during shoulder season when you can enjoy that gorgeous coastline without feeling like you’re fighting for space on every beach.

  Loved everything about the property and staff, such a lovely little place. Lots of drink options and food options. Also lovely frappes 🙂
  Very clean and modern.
  Staff were all lovely and friendly, went above and beyond when we needed help with things in the area.
  The walk to Lindos is not bad at all, 10 minutes out your day and there’s regular shuttle buses but we only used 1!
  We will be back and will stay at this hotel again, loved it. Thank you for a lovely stay.
  
  What could be improved: This is only a little suggestion, maybe some music around the pool area a couple days a week.
  Although without it- it’s lovely and peaceful so is also fine without it.

  The arrival was very comforting, the staff was welcoming and helpful with our wishes. It was a small hotel but nevertheless very nice. Newly renovated room(s). Overall a simple but quiet place to relax with a nice pool. The family that runs the hotel is everything stated above which made our stay amazing: helpful, amazing, resourceful and extremely kind. Our 7 days were amazing and would recommend everyone who would enjoy a nice and chill vacation in Lindos.
  
  What could be improved: It was quite a big walk downhill to the town of Lindos. So a big walk uphill aswell and taxi's are quite busy during the evening/night in Lindos. It is recommended to rent a car, especially if you want to travel around the island. (not a downside to the hotel because that is amazing)

  Location was perfect.

  Location, rooms, cleaning, design and stuff was really good.
  
  What could be improved: The internet connection in the room we stayed was very bad, I guess there was no problem in the other rooms I am not sure, but in our room (113 as far as I remember) was so bad.

  We love everything about this place, our room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. We really had a great stay. The host are very friendly and welcoming.

  What could be improved: – The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable.
  – Breakfast was a set menu which stayed the same each day. This led to a lot of food waste.

  Lovely spacious rooms. Pool fantastic. Quiet and out of the way. Staff always available and friendly. Regular cleaning. Plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. Small supermarket nearby. Pool bar. Laundry done for us for €5 – back within a day!!! Eleni really helpful with ordering of taxis and local recommendations.
  
  What could be improved: Walk back up from beach and town a little harder than expected. Predominantly English guests, which could be a factor for some. Really minor point – the kitchen would benefit from a bit more cutlery and utensils, e.g. tin opener or peeler!

  This was such a lovely apartment, we had the two bedroom apartment which was very beautifully decorated and comfortable. We were self catering. We went to Eleni’s BBQ on the Monday which was delicious & as a result got talking to other guests who were lovely. The pool was so warm & never too busy and always plenty of sun loungers. 20 minute walk into Lindos town… very hot uphill walk back up again! Beautiful garden with a fig tree and flowers. View of the acropolis. Eleni & staff were helpful in giving us restaurant and boat trip recommendations. It was a quiet area which was very relaxing.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing ! The only thing I could say is the pool closed at 6 when we could’ve easily stayed around the pool til much later!

  Very friendly, excellent newly refurbished rooms and pool. The hotel was spotless and being family run meant that nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.
