Honestly, when I first pulled up to CasaLindos Cottage, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, you see “cottage” and sometimes that’s code for “cramped,” you know? But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked into Lindos in this perfect spot where you’re close enough to hear the village coming alive in the morning (the local bakery starts early, trust me), but far enough from the main tourist drag that you’re not dealing with crowds stumbling past your window at midnight.

The whole setup feels like someone’s incredibly stylish Greek aunt decided to rent out her place – and I mean that as the highest compliment. The rooms have this lived-in elegance that’s hard to fake, with those thick stone walls that keep everything blissfully cool even when it’s blazing outside. What really got me was the attention to small stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling. The shower has proper water pressure (seriously, this isn’t always a given in Greek islands), there’s enough plug outlets that you’re not playing musical chairs with your devices, and the beds are genuinely comfortable – not just “vacation rental comfortable” where you convince yourself it’s fine.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Lindos without feeling like you’re stuck in a postcard. You can walk to the Acropolis path in about five minutes, but you’re positioned so you catch these amazing views without paying resort prices. The staff – well, they’re not just polite, they actually seem to know the area. When I asked about avoiding crowds at the Acropolis, the woman at reception didn’t just say “go early” like everyone else. She told me about this specific path that locals use and the exact time when the cruise ship groups typically clear out. That kind of insight makes a difference. There’s also this little terrace area where you can have coffee in the morning and actually hear yourself think, which is pretty rare in a place that gets as busy as Lindos can get during peak season. The whole place has this relaxed confidence – like they know they’re good without having to prove it with a bunch of unnecessary frills.

  Sotiris our host was incredibly helpful and kind whenever we messaged him. He went above and beyond to support us during our stay and give us recommendations of what to do and see. We will definitely be back to Rhodes. It was such a wonderful place and this fantastic accommodation made it especially wonderful.

  Beautiful white Lindos house with charming courtyard with a table and chairs to eat there and to relax- here we spent majority of time.
  Inside old, traditional furnitures like from heritage park (beds very comfortable to sleep) and of course air conditioning.
  Localised close to the city center, but in a quiet neighborhood, and also only 15 minutes away from the main beach.

  The host collected us from the airport, drove us to the accommodation and handed over the keys. What more could you ask for! He was also on hand for all of our needs throughout our stay. The house was beautiful and was decorated in true Lindian traditional style. It was comfy and the views over the town and acropolis were spectacular. A cleaner also attended regularly to change our sheets, towels and to collect our rubbish etc. The town was just a short walk down the hill and there were three beautiful beaches just a stones throw away. Lindos is the perfect family getaway and with its small car-less cobbled streets, is very safe for children.. donkey rides included! The community were so friendly and we didn’t have a bad meal out all week. We can’t wait to visit Lindos again and would 100% stay with CasaLindos!

  A charming traditional house, great location less than 10 mins walk to beautiful St. Paul's Bay or the shops/restaurants. The house had everything we needed – a well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, a shaded outside space, amazing views from the windows, air-con. The host was very helpful and friendly too. All in all we had a wonderful family holiday.

  The cottage was great; a completely different stay from what you could expect. My family and I loved it. Also, you get to see the Acropolis right in front of the property. Sotiris was very responsive and took care of us well.

  Loved the authentic Lindian layout and beds. Great aircon and the structure of the walls kept the rooms cool even when the aircon was off during the day . Very comfy beds and excellent sheets. incredible view of the Acropolis as it’s quite high up in the village. Sotiris the manager was absolutely excellent in all communications – before and during our stay.
  
  What could be improved: nothing except, like many places in Lindos, it is an uphill walk back along a cobbled alley. It’s quite high up in Lindos which means amazing views but you need to be able to walk uphill!

  Great place, well equipped, clean and very nicely arranged – vintage style with lovely details! Very near to everything: beaches, restaurants, mini markets but still quite and away from the tourist trails. Small inner courtyard with a lemon tree only for you! The host couldn‘t be better – very helpful, always available and really friendly!
