Hotel Description
You know what surprised me most about Casa Stavris? It’s actually tucked away on Lindos Avenue in a way that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special, even though you’re right in the heart of Faliraki. I mean, everyone talks about how crazy busy this part of Rhodes gets – and honestly, it does during peak summer – but this place manages to feel like a retreat from all that chaos. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the details here. The lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling that’s way more appealing than those sterile resort chains you see everywhere.
What really gets me is how they’ve nailed that sweet spot between being close to everything but not drowning in tourist madness. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Faliraki Beach – and I’m talking the good part, not where all the beach bars blast music until 3 AM. The staff here… well, they actually remember your name after the first day, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re trying to unwind. I spent most mornings on their terrace with coffee, watching the town wake up slowly, and you can see all the way toward Anthony Quinn Bay on clear days. The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully comfortable – nothing flashy, but everything works properly (which anyone who’s traveled in Greece knows isn’t always a given). The air conditioning actually cools the room, the shower has decent pressure, and the beds are firm enough that you won’t wake up feeling like you slept on a marshmallow.
Here’s the thing that sealed it for me though – the location gives you options without forcing choices on you. Want to explore Lindos? It’s a straightforward 15-minute drive down the coast, and the hotel can sort out transfers that won’t cost you a fortune. Feel like staying local? Faliraki’s got this surprisingly good restaurant scene beyond the obvious touristy spots, and the Casa Stavris folks will point you toward places where locals actually eat. Parking’s included, which might sound boring but trust me, you’ll appreciate it when you see what other places charge. The pool area gets busy around midday – I’d recommend claiming a spot early if you’re there in July or August – but evenings are perfect for a quiet swim. That 9.1 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen; it’s the result of small things done right consistently. Honestly, if you’re looking for that balance between comfort and authenticity without paying resort prices, this is exactly the kind of place you stumble onto and then guard the secret jealously.

Great facilities and friendly staff. Christina was a lovely and helpful host. We loved the welcoming snacks and bottle of wine when we arrived. Breakfast was a great mixture of Greek delicacies. The private pool was a big plus.
What could be improved: The hotel is situated next to the main road so it can be a bit noisy, but location-wise apart from that it's next to a nice Taverna, a short walk to the beach, and the bus stops to Lindos and Rhodes are next to the hotel.Kieran from United Kingdom – 17 October 2024 (10/10)
Staff were very nice, friendly and helpful throughout are stay rooms were cleaned and tidy everyday with clothes being hung up for us
What could be improved: Only single thing I could fault is the two single beds pushed together instead of a doubleLara from Serbia – 8 October 2024 (10/10)
We had a wonderful time! Very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was very good. The staff is very friendly and nice!
What could be improved: Often it’s noisy due to traffic since it is located next to a very busy boulevardAmy from United Kingdom – 20 September 2024 (10/10)
Beautiful place to stay, although near a main road the rooms were super quiet. We had a room with a hot tub & it was perfect, really clean & really up to date inside.
Staff were so lovely especially the lady on reception, she always made time to ask how you were & always had time to answer any questions we had. The cleaners also came in every day & did a fantastic job.
Within walking distance of Faliraki & 2 mins walk from a lovely restaurant next door, which we visited twice. Easy to get the bus in to Rhodes as well, we did this multiple times.
What could be improved: The hotel is on a main road which isn’t a problem however it can feel quite unsafe walking back from the bus stop as at the corner the path completely runs out so you essentially have to walk on the dual carriage way, we just timed it with the lights changing & ran!Erika from Lithuania – 17 September 2024 (10/10)
Breakfast was superb, freshly cooked every morning. There were all types of food, starting from warm dishes and finishing with sweets. Hotel is very clean, they clean the rooms every day. Pool is great and there were always free spaces on sunbeds. You can eat lunch at the hotel as well, which is very nice if you are too lazy to go somewhere else.
What could be improved: It might be a little noisy sometimes from the road that is by the hotel.Daniele from Italy – 2 September 2024 (10/10)
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. This is a family run business, they cook the abundant breakfast and really care for their guests.
They gave us indications on where to eat, booked restaurants for us and went beyond expectations to make our stay the best possible.
While it's true that hotel is located on the main road it's very conveniently placed, with parking space and the road noise didn't disturb us once we were in the hotel (there's a big wall separating the hotel from the road)
What could be improved: The hotel is located on the main road and it's not very easy to move without a car.Serkan from Turkey – 1 September 2024 (9/10)
Everything was super including breakfast
