Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Casa Manny? The location is absolutely perfect, but not in that generic “convenient location” way hotels always claim. I mean, you’re literally on Megalou Konstantinou street – which honestly sounds intimidating when you’re trying to pronounce it, but it’s actually this lovely tree-lined road that puts you right in the sweet spot of Rhodes Town. You can walk to the medieval Old Town in about three minutes (I timed it), but you’re far enough away that you don’t get the tourist crowds stumbling past your window at 2 AM. The building itself has this understated elegance – it’s not trying too hard to be boutique-y, if you know what I mean. Clean lines, that Mediterranean white-and-blue thing done right, and the entrance actually feels welcoming rather than intimidating.

What really won me over was how the staff seemed to genuinely know their stuff about the island. The guy at reception – I think his name was Nikos – didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map. He actually marked off this little bakery around the corner that locals go to (their cheese pies are ridiculous), and warned me that the main square gets absolutely packed between 11 AM and 2 PM when the cruise ships dock. These are the details that matter when you’re trying to experience a place, not just check it off your list. The rooms themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully simple – good beds (seriously, I slept like a rock), decent shower pressure, and air conditioning that actually works without sounding like a freight train. Nothing fancy, but everything you need is there and works properly. I appreciated that the balcony faces away from the main street, so mornings are actually peaceful with just the sound of locals heading to work and the occasional scooter puttering by.

Here’s the thing about Rhodes Town that Casa Manny gets right – you want to be close enough to dive into the history and the nightlife, but you also want somewhere to retreat that feels like a sanctuary. This place nails that balance. The 9.6 rating honestly makes sense when you stay here – it’s not about luxury amenities or Instagram-worthy pools. It’s about being in exactly the right spot with people who care about your experience and rooms that let you rest properly between adventures. Plus, and this might sound silly, but the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, which saved my trip when I needed to change some flight details. Sometimes it’s the unglamorous stuff that makes or breaks a stay, you know?

  The location was great.. close to the old town but not in the old town. Easy access with space for car parking onsite. A lovely bottle of wine to greet us was appreciated.
  
  What could be improved: Very little but we did need to buy tea towels,salt , pepper, a cleaning spray and extra toilet paper.

  The house is extremely well furnished, everything is prepared, too comfortable, very close to the Old town, nice coffee shops around. 2 bathrooms eased many things since we have 2 small kids. Kitchen has every need and Wi-Fi is working perfectly. Four A/C are in the house and all are working perfect.
  
  What could be improved: The outside doors can not be locked from inside, but actually that was not a big problem since there is only handle from inside. The last day hot water is not that hot but I guess it was due to another reason, since every other day, it was perfect.

  Cute house at a convenient location right next to the medieval town of Rhodes. The house itself is very clean and spacious. There are a few nice cafes in the area too.

  Everything was perfect, this property is amazing as you can see on the pictures! The old town was only a few minutes from the accomodation which makes us easier to explore the city by foot.The owner was kind , the communication was perfect. Thanks for the little presents in the kitchen, we enjoyed it!

  Very good location, close to the entrance to the city gate. A hidden, secluded place. A big apartment. Lots of kitchen equipment, cleaning products. Modern place, clean and well-kept. Good contact with the owner of the apartament. Nice rooms, large and comfortable beds. Nearby grocery stores, bus stop, gateway to the city. High-quality apartment for arrival with family or group of friends. Everything is new and well-maintained. Behind the house a small garden with chairs and a table. A small welcome treat in the kitchen it was very nice!
  
  What could be improved: 2 small things. Lack of more detailed description of the place. The name address shows anabandoned apartment (right) on the street, but in reality it is more hidden on the left, behind the street. We wandered around a litte with our luggage looking for an apartment. For example, there was a lack of photos of how to get to the apartment, description of the entrance (should be made more specific). There was also a shortage of garbage bags. We were 4 people all week and except for one extra more bag for the trash, there were no more.
