You know what caught me off guard about Casa Fiore? I was expecting another cookie-cutter Rhodes Town hotel, but this place actually has personality. It’s tucked on Koloniale Street – which, honestly, I’d never heard of before booking – but it turns out to be this perfect little pocket just far enough from the main tourist chaos. You’re still walking distance to everything that matters, but you won’t have drunk British tourists stumbling past your window at 3am singing football chants.

The building itself has that authentic Greek charm without trying too hard, if that makes sense. I mean, it’s clearly been renovated recently (thank god, because the AC actually works), but they kept the character intact. The lobby smells like jasmine and coffee, which sounds cheesy but it’s genuinely lovely when you’re coming back from a day of dodging tour groups at the Palace of the Grand Masters. Speaking of which – and this is something I wish someone had told me – you can actually see the medieval walls from some of the upper floor rooms. Not all of them, mind you, so definitely ask when you’re checking in. The staff there, particularly this older Greek woman at reception (I think her name was Maria?), knows exactly which rooms have the best views and she’ll sort you out if you ask nicely.

What really won me over was the attention to small stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling. The shower pressure is fantastic – I know, I know, such a mundane thing to mention, but after a week of disappointing hotel showers across the Dodecanese, it was basically heaven. There’s also this little courtyard area where they serve breakfast that’s genuinely peaceful. It’s nothing fancy, just some tables under a grapevine pergola, but it feels worlds away from the cruise ship crowds that descend on the old town every morning. The breakfast itself is solid – proper Greek yogurt, local honey, decent coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting in a pot since yesterday. They also do this thing where they’ll pack you a little bag if you’re heading out early for a day trip, which saved my life when I was catching the 7am ferry to Symi.

The location really is the sweet spot – close enough that you can stumble back from dinner in the old town without needing a taxi, but far enough that you’re not dealing with constant noise from the bars on Orfeos Street. Plus, and this might sound random, but there’s a fantastic little bakery just two blocks away that opens at 6am and does these incredible spinach pies. Perfect for grabbing something quick before exploring.

Look, it’s not luxury – it’s a solid 4-star place that knows what it’s doing. The rooms are comfortable, the staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay good, and you’re not paying for a bunch of amenities you’ll never use. If you want a pool scene and all that resort stuff, this isn’t your place. But if you want a clean, comfortable base for exploring Rhodes that feels more like staying in a well-run guesthouse than a corporate hotel, Casa Fiore gets it right.

  The location of the property was great. It took only 3 minutes by car to get to the old town. The house provides everything that you may need as a person who is on holiday. There are well-thought details inside the house. Additionally, the balcony was amazing and very comfortable.

  You have everything in the apartment – from air fryer to beach towels. We could easily fly with empty suitcases, because everything you need is already in Casa Fiore. Guests are encouraged to leave spare staff for next travelers, which is a great idea.
  
  What could be improved: Although we enjoyed the complete privacy, the neighborhood does not really care about their neighbors. For instance, next to Casa Fiore is poorly maintained garden with bunch of cats and a dog smelling badly. We understand that this issue has nothing to do with a host, but sure there must be a way to make neighbors be more attentive.

  Location is superb with supermarket and fresh produce market around the corner. We walked to the Old Town easily. Home had everything we could need. Internet worked well.
  
  What could be improved: Given the small nature of the rooms, I think fewer decorations would have helped. For example in the upstairs bathroom, there was no need for flowers on the flood in front of the toilet. Since limited empty drawer space, we put much of our clothing on tables but even those had decorations on them .

  What could be improved: Property was in a great location to explore the town. The kitchen was fully equipped including extra treats. The property was super clean and we could not fault it. Kim was fantastic and gave advice and help whenever we messaged! Quick responses and kindness throughout! I would recommend this property to explore Rhodes!

  1)Good location, easy walk to the old town,
  2) Nice house full of many more items than what you would expect. E.g. beach towels, many appliances in the kitchen, lots of varieties of tea in kitchen cupboards, bath robes in the bedroom
  3) Open space in the front with nice plants and garden furniture
  4) Foldable large dining table which fits in the space when opened.

  Lovely compact townhouse in quiet residential area 10 minutes easy walk from Old Town. The house was superbly equipped with modern amenities, and a cool, relaxing vibe. The small but private garden space was lovely for relaxing into the evening. There were complementary drinks – wine, beer and more, as well as a whole range of food items – guests were encouraged to leave anything spare on leaving for other guests, rather than throw them away – a very good idea and saves on wastage. We only stayed here 1 night to experience the city, which was also great, but would happily have stayed much longer. Really was a perfect place from which to explore both Rhodes Old & New Town. A great choice – Thank you!
