You know what struck me first about Casa di Gianna? It’s that perfect sweet spot on the Rhodes-Lindos road where you’re technically outside the chaos of Rhodes Town but still close enough that you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere. I mean, you can actually hear the waves if you listen carefully from some of the upper floor rooms – something the booking sites don’t really mention but honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to fall asleep after a long day exploring.

The place has this lived-in elegance that’s hard to fake. The lobby feels more like someone’s really well-appointed living room than a hotel reception, and the staff actually remembers your name after day two (which, let’s be honest, doesn’t happen everywhere). What really got me was the breakfast setup – they’ve got this terrace that catches the morning light just right, and the woman who runs the kitchen makes these little honey pastries that I’m pretty sure aren’t on any official menu. The coffee’s proper strong too, none of that watery hotel stuff. Parking’s straightforward, which anyone who’s driven around Rhodes Town will tell you is basically a miracle. The rooms themselves are bigger than you’d expect from the photos – I had space to actually unpack everything, plus a balcony that looked out toward the coast. The air conditioning works properly (tested it during that heat wave in August), and the beds are firm but not rock-hard. There’s this attention to detail that feels genuine – like the way they’ve positioned the furniture so you’re not fighting glare on your phone screen, or how the bathroom has actual counter space for your stuff.

Here’s the thing about the location that makes it special: you’re a quick drive from both the medieval town and the beach areas, but you’re also perfectly positioned for day trips to Lindos without having to navigate through all the coastal traffic. The 9.8 rating isn’t just inflated reviews – this place actually delivers on the small things that matter when you’re tired and just want everything to work smoothly. Sure, it’s not beachfront, but honestly? The trade-off is worth it for the peace and quiet, plus you avoid the tourist crowds that swarm the waterfront properties. If you’re the type who likes a home base that feels more like a discovery than a standard hotel experience, Casa di Gianna gets it right.

  I can write with firm confidence that the owners of this rented house were the most hospitable, kind and responsible owners that I have ever met. We were met and welcomed as if we were family, which really touched me.
  The house was perfectly clean, the bedcovers were like in a good hotel, and on top of everything, the owner (lovely lady) treated my husband and me to national Greek food called “Moussaka”, plus prepared separately the children’s favorite food (spaghetti with nuggets) which was discussed with me in advance. I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful welcoming, for a spectacular vacation and impressions of Rhodes.
  I recommend this house 100%. I am attaching photos of a delicious dish prepared by the owner of the house. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Wish you all the best that can happen in this life!

  One of the best places we have stayed in! The hospitality is on another level and you immediately feel at home away from home. Excellent location with proximity to the beach and center with restaurants, we did not rent a car. The moussaka and the gifts was the frosting on the cake.

  We had a very relaxing stay at Casa di Gianna. Communication was great and we were kindly greeted before the check in time by the hosts. They quickly brought toys for the kids to use during our stay and fridge was equipped with good essentials upon our arrival. In the middle of our stay the kids received more gifts and we received a wonderful homemade moussaka made by Tula. She also gifted us souvenirs before our departure. The holiday house is very comfortable and quiet. Everything was new and as in the pictures. Thanks for everything Tula and family.

  Wonderful place, wonderful conditions and wonderful hosts. We felt special. Thank you for our amazing and unforgettable holiday. We were in Rhodes for the first time and everything exceeded our expectations many times over. There is no rating more than 10 otherwise I would give it.

  We had a lovely stay at the casa of Giana!
  The hosts were adorable, they welcomed us with some fruits and refreshments.
  Toula were amazing with us, she cooked a greek speciality one night and give us some souvenirs from Rhodes for our last day!
  The house was exactely the same as in the pictures, everything was clean and fonctional.
  There is an airco on the house, so the house is always fresh even if its very hot outside.
  There is a supermarket across the street who was very practical.
  I recomand this place a lot! Everything was great!

  The place was clean, welcoming, had all needed amenities for our stay and is a short walking distance from the center and the beach. On top of that the owners were probably the loveliest people we have met so far while travelling. Upon arrival they stocked the fridge with some essentials, helped us making the garden toddler proof, we shared a (super delicious) moussaka lunch together made by them, our toddler had constant entertainment (and toys) with them and we were always offered some delicious snacks or homemade pastries. 😊

  Nice host and clean house.
  We received drinks and some food and fruits in the fridge when we arrived and also in the last night the host cooked us a very good moussaka and also gave us some nice gifts.
  Around 10 minutes walk to the city center and 12-15 to the beach, is away from the city noise which we enjoyed.
  
  What could be improved: No window in the bathroom.
  Funny story we got a "shower" from the sprinklers around 2 am when coming back from club because we didn't noticed they were pointed towards the entrance of the yard.

  The owner met us to had over the keys, had quick chat and had stocked the fridge with some drinks and essentials for our stay. She was very welcoming and helpful with any questions regarding the property. Her son was very close by so there if needed.

  The property is recently refurbished, with terrace, all equipment works perfectly. It is 10-15 minutes walk from beach, bars, restaurants, shops area. So, it is quite place. The owners are very kind and helpful with all possible tasks. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
