Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to 14 Pafou Street – it’s tucked away in this quiet residential pocket of Rhodes Town that you’d probably miss if you weren’t looking for it. But that’s actually part of what makes Casa di Flora so special. You’re literally a five-minute walk from all the medieval chaos of the Old Town, but when you come home at night, it’s peaceful enough that you can actually hear yourself think.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish Greek aunt decided to rent out her place – and I mean that in the best possible way. Everything’s been thoughtfully chosen, from the crisp white linens that somehow stay cool even in July heat to the little kitchen that’s actually equipped for real cooking (you know how rare that is in vacation rentals). The owner clearly gets what travelers need because there are charging stations everywhere, the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and – this might sound silly but it matters – the shower has proper water pressure. I’ve stayed in five-star hotels in Rhodes that couldn’t manage that. The whole place gets this gorgeous morning light that spills across the living area, and there’s something about the way it’s decorated that feels authentically Greek without being kitschy about it.

What really sold me on this place, though, is the location situation. See, most people either stay right in the thick of the Old Town where it’s atmospheric but loud and touristy, or they end up in some beach resort that’s nowhere near anything interesting. Casa di Flora splits the difference perfectly – you can walk to Mandraki Harbor in about eight minutes (I timed it), grab dinner at those little tavernas on Sofokli Venizelou that the locals actually go to, then slip back to your quiet street when you’ve had enough of the crowds. There’s a little grocery store around the corner where the owner will practice his English with you, and if you head the other direction toward Zephyrou Street, you’ll find this bakery that does these incredible cheese pies in the morning. The kind of stuff you only figure out when you’re staying somewhere long enough to develop a routine, you know? Plus – and this is huge if you’re renting a car – parking isn’t the nightmare it is everywhere else in the old part of town. You can actually find a spot without circling for twenty minutes.

Look, I’ll be straight with you: this isn’t the kind of place where someone’s going to bring you poolside cocktails or fold your towels into swan shapes. But if you want to feel like you’re living in Rhodes rather than just visiting it, and you appreciate when someone’s put real thought into making a space comfortable and functional, Casa di Flora gets it right. That 9.8 rating isn’t inflated marketing nonsense – it’s what happens when a place consistently delivers on the stuff that actually matters to travelers.

  Clean, comfortable, great beds, great sleep, very well equipped for everything, stylish too, lovely wrap-around balcony, it was a joy to stay there. Quiet location, without masses of tourists, couple of coffee shops, a pizzeria close by & 20 mins walk to the old town. Buses close by to get to other areas including Lindos & Kalithea. A decent supermarket also just a few mins away. Sebastian met us & gave some useful info after showing us around the aparment. He was a great guy! We all loved staying here (2 adults, 2 young teenagers).
  
  What could be improved: Nothing! Would stay again. Maybe not for you if you like to be in the thick of things or overlooking the sea.
  One tiny thing, i'm a product junkie, a shelf in bedroom with a mirror would've been good but not essential, there was plenty of storage space.

  The apartment is tastefully furnished, fully refurbished and every detail has been thought of. The communication from the manager is excellent. The old city is within walking distance as is the bus stop for places down the east coast.

  The apartment had everything we needed and was beautifully furnished. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of wardrobe space. Having an extra toilet was useful and we loved having the Nespresso coffee maker. The walk into Rhodes town was relatively short and we went to two beaches, one quite close and the larger one further into the town. We also got a fresh set of towels part way through our week's stay which we appreciated. Sebastian and his wife Flora were lovely, very helpful and quick to respond to any of my messages. A perfect place to stay in Rhodes!

  We loved this apartment for our family. We were very comfortable here for 5 nights. Comfy beds and couch and a well equipped kitchen. Sebastian was very responsive and helpful and organised transfers for us and a late checkout that helped with our later ferry times. He communicated really well and checked in regularly with us.
  The location was perfect with a parking spot either out front or just down the road in a free parking place. The supermarket was 2 mins walk and the gates of the old town about 10 mins walk. Really convenient location for walking into Rhodes old town each day/night.
  The extra toilet off the living area was helpful for our family group. The air con in each bedroom was so awesome for the warm nights plus one in the living area. The washing machine was great and the balcony was nice to have that wrapped around the whole apartment. It was a residential area but still nice to have a balcony to sit on. Smart TV was great too.

  Sebastian, the host, was very helpful and friendly, and communicated very effectively. The location of the apartment is perfect – a few minutes' walk to the old town and a supermarket and local restaurant almost on the doorstep. A bus stop for all the buses that serve the east coast was a few steps away too. The apartment itself was spacious, extremely well-equipped and immaculately clean.
  
  What could be improved: My wife and I played a little game to find fault with this place and couldn't think of anything! In our opinion it is as near perfect as you can get.

  Casa di Flora is an amazing apartment. It’s comfy, 6-8 people can stay there without any problems. There were numerous kitchen amenities (literally whatever you think of) and 4 a/c units. The apartment is located in a quiet area of the Rhodes Town and it’ll take you ~20 min to reach the Old Town on foot. We also rented a car and had no problems with finding a street parking lot. All in all, we had an outstanding stay at Casa di Flora and would recommend it.

  Sebastian and his wife were incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. The apartment is one of the best options in Rhodes City, offering great value for the price. It was spotless and located in a quiet area, just a 10 to 15-minute walk from the old town of Rhodes.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment was excellent, but we found the mattresses firmer than we prefer (which affected our sleep quality but others may find the mattresses absolutely perfect) and the blanket options limited. However, it's worth noting that Sebastian was very willing to accommodate our needs. We realized too late that we could have simply asked for thinner blankets (to find a comfortable sleeping temperature). Future visitors should definitely communicate any preferences to Sebastian, as he is more than willing to help ensure a comfortable stay.
