You know what struck me first about Casa Della Vita Suite? It’s tucked away on Platanos Street in a way that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the tour groups haven’t figured out yet. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Old Town Rhodes – and I’m talking about the real medieval part, not the touristy strip by the harbor – but somehow this place manages to feel like a quiet refuge. The building itself has that weathered stone charm that actually belongs here, not the fake ancient vibe some hotels try to pull off. When I walked in, honestly, the lobby felt more like stepping into someone’s elegant home than a typical hotel. The staff clearly knows their stuff too – they had restaurant recommendations I’d never heard of that turned out to be absolute gems.

The suites themselves are what really sold me on this place. Everything feels thoughtfully done without being fussy about it. The rooms are spacious enough that you’re not playing Tetris with your luggage, and the beds are actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how many boutique places mess this up). What I loved most was the attention to detail – proper blackout curtains for those Mediterranean summer mornings, decent water pressure in the shower, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing. The décor walks that fine line between classic and contemporary without feeling like it’s trying too hard. And here’s something practical – the walls are thick enough that you won’t hear every conversation from the hallway, which matters when you’re staying in a historic building where sound can travel in weird ways.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Rhodes Town properly. You’re maybe a three-minute walk from the Street of the Knights, but you’re also close enough to those little tavernas tucked into the residential parts of the old town where locals actually eat. The Platanos area has this wonderful evening rhythm – quiet enough for a good night’s sleep, but you can still hear the distant sounds of the old town coming alive after dark. Parking can be tricky in this part of Rhodes (it always is), but the hotel staff knows the area well enough to give you actual useful advice about where to leave your car if you’re driving. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s one of those places that gets the balance right between being special and being genuinely comfortable to live in for a few days.

  The property was in the best location, the design was very good and the outside garden nice to have.
  
  What could be improved: The beds weren’t very comfortable and one squeezed each time you turned over , and the second bedroom needs an air con unit for these hotter months or at ceiling fan

  This apartment is exactly as in the pictures – superb location, close to Sea Gate and Alexander the Great Square, very comfortable beds, bathroom facilities great with a hair dryer. The outside courtyard is lovely, very quiet, despite how close you are to the action!
  There is an option to leave luggage here if needed.
  Perfect base for our holiday, close to harbours which was great for us as we did 4 boat trips. Mini market and bakeries nearby as well as some fabulous restaurants.

  Large, simple and peaceful garden apartment just steps from buzzing Socrates Street in Rhodes Old Town. Gorgeous hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Great water pressure in the shower which is not often the case in Greece. Spotlessly clean, with thick stone walls which insulate against the heat.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing to dislike. The mattresses were, however, exceptionally firm.

  Apartmán je v centru starého města. Krásná historická lokalita. Je moderně vybaven, ma krásnou terasu s báječnou vířivkou. V okolí cca 100 metrů je několik restaurací, obchod s potravinami. I když jste v centru , je tam klid. Určitě se vrátíme.
