Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Casa Blue Sarantis on Panaetiou Street – I mean, Faliraki has this reputation for being all party hotels and tourist traps, you know? But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked just far enough from the main strip that you’re not dealing with drunk British teenagers stumbling past your window at 3 AM, but close enough that you can still walk to the beach or grab dinner without needing a taxi every time.

The thing about this hotel is that it gets the balance right – and trust me, that’s harder to find in Faliraki than you’d think. The staff actually remember your name after day one (which sounds small but makes such a difference), and the rooms have this clean, modern vibe without feeling sterile. I stayed in July, peak madness season, and while you could definitely hear the distant thump of music from the main beach clubs, it wasn’t the kind of noise that keeps you up unless you’re a really light sleeper. The pool area becomes this little oasis during the day – there’s something about the way they’ve positioned the loungers that makes it feel more private than it actually is. And here’s a tip nobody tells you: the hotel’s location means you’re actually walking distance from both the crazy party scene AND the quieter family beaches toward Anthony Quinn Bay, so you can pick your vibe depending on the day.

What really sold me though was the breakfast situation – I know, I know, hotel breakfast isn’t usually worth writing home about, but they do this thing where they mix traditional Greek items with the standard international stuff, and it actually works. Plus, the woman who runs the breakfast service (I think her name was Maria?) gives you these insider tips about which tavernas to hit and which beaches are less crowded on specific days. The whole operation feels like it’s run by people who actually care about hospitality, not just processing tourists through the doors. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind or change your life, but if you want a solid base in Faliraki that doesn’t break the bank and lets you sleep at night while still being close to everything, Casa Blue Sarantis does exactly what it promises. The 8.7 rating makes sense – it’s the kind of place that just works without any drama, which honestly might be the highest compliment you can give a hotel in this part of Rhodes.

  Everything was just perfect. Very well run family place, clean a comfortable, friendly owner. If we come to Faliraki again,this accommodation will be our first choice.

  It is a family run business where everybody is just so welcoming. Breakfast was simple but more than enough. Highly recommend to try the gyros there! 🙂 Everything is made by the owner, Stergios' mother. Property is just a few hundred meters from the main beach area and as well from the city center.

  We were here for one night so we could go on a boat trip up the island while staying in Lindos. The bed was comfy and the room was a good size. Good bathroom. The balcony was also a good size. It isn't too far to walk to faliraki centre and the hotel sorted us a taxi for our boat trip in the morning.
  
  What could be improved: The balcony overlooked the pool which didn't feel very private otherwise we have no complaints.

  Ah very welcoming host. Clean rooms. The bed was really comfortable didnt sleep so good since a long time. The location is very good. Not crowdy but jusz 10min youre beach or center.
  
  Try his chicken pita gyro. Big serving and good taste for the cheap price. No need to seek gyro outside.

  We loved the atmosphere, we liked the room 🙂 There was a side sea view from our balcony, but on the other hand, we had a beautiful view of the starry night sky!
  Stergos was a fantastic host; he helped us with everything!
  
  What could be improved: Although the breakfasts were tasty, we were served the same products every day. For us, it was okay since everything was fresh, but if you are looking for varied meals, consider eating outside the hotel 🙂

  Very nice and calm environment, pool was lovely also had a nice little breakfast with options to chose from also has a nice seating area, the room was very spacious and clean well done up! Balcony was looking over the garden which had a nice little water fountain which was very relaxing! Would 100% recommend! Thank you for having us
