Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Calma Luxury Studios & Suites – I mean, Faliraki has this reputation for being all about the party scene and crowded beach clubs. But you know what? This place completely changed my perspective on the area. It’s tucked away from the main strip where all the noise happens, yet you’re still close enough to walk to Anthony Quinn Bay (which, by the way, is absolutely stunning and way less crowded than the main Faliraki beach).

The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of calm – I guess they really nailed the name. The lobby has this clean, modern Greek aesthetic without being sterile, and the staff actually remembers your name after the first day, which is rare these days. My studio had this gorgeous little balcony that caught the morning light perfectly, and I’d sit there with coffee watching the olive groves stretch toward the coastline. The kitchenette was properly equipped too – not just the usual sad mini-fridge and kettle situation you get at most places. I actually cooked a few meals using ingredients from the local market in Rhodes Town, which is about a 20-minute drive if you rent a car (totally worth it, parking here is easy and free).

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to create this sophisticated vibe while still feeling genuinely Greek. The pool area never felt overcrowded, even in late July when everything else on the island was packed. There’s this lovely terrace where locals from the village sometimes stop by for evening drinks – you’ll hear a mix of Greek and various European languages, which gives you that authentic Mediterranean feeling without the tourist trap atmosphere. The air conditioning actually works properly (trust me, this matters in Greek summers), and the beds are legitimately comfortable. I’m pretty picky about mattresses, and I slept better here than I have at places costing twice as much. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the WiFi can be a bit spotty on the upper floors during peak hours, but honestly, that kind of forced me to disconnect and enjoy the surroundings more. With a 9.6 rating, I can see why people keep coming back – it’s one of those rare places that delivers on the luxury promise without feeling pretentious or disconnected from the local culture.

  The apartment is spacious and nicely furnished. The terrace is very beautiful. The jacuzzi is perfect for two people – we used it every evening. The location of the apartment is ideal – peaceful and quiet, yet close to restaurants, shops, and the beach.
  Breakfasts are tasty, fresh, and plentiful, always delivered to the room at the agreed time.
  The biggest asset of this place is the exceptionally friendly service.
  Additionally, you receive a 20% discount at what we consider the best restaurant in Faliraki – Desert Rose. Just remember to reserve a table for dinner, as the place can get crowded.
  
  What could be improved: A slightly larger table would be more comfortable.

  The property was very clean and airy with parking on site.
  It was lovely to have a hot tub, even though I didn’t use it.
  Breakfast came promptly every morning and was lovely.

  We stayed in this beautiful place for a week. The room was really modern, clean and luxurious. The jacuzzi and sunbed were the cherry on the top🫶🏻The staff really did everything they could for us to enjoy our stay. Location was great as well, we rented a car so seeing the island of rhodes as a whole was super easy☀️Also, gotta mention their lovely restaurant desert rose, they had great food and drinks!
  Overall, I definitely recommend everyone to stay in this place if considering going to rhodes🥰

  Greek hospitality at it’s best. Had a fabulous stay at this accommodation. Couldn’t fault anything. So clean and fresh. Thank you to the cleaning lady. Breakfast fabulous and delivered to room at whatever time you request. Always on time. What wonderful owners, Mum, Dad & Son. The food at the restaurant was top notch. Ate there 3 times. Never disappointed. Given discount as well. Restaurant staff all fabulous & very welcoming. Stayed extra days because was so good. Close to all bars and restaurants. If we ever return to Rhodes this is definitely the place we’ll stay without a doubt. Thank you to our hosts.

  Was I a quiet location ideal for couple or older friends and single person, had everything we needed and only had to ask if anything was missing and you received. We were in the smallest of the room but not that we minded, were cleaned every day and bed sheets and towels changed daily. Some days we thought we were only people staying their even though we were not, didn’t have table and chairs was bar stools and small bench but we asked if we could have a table and chairs and received with in an hour. We made full use of the jacuzzi in the afternoons after being out biting the day which was lovely for relaxing.Did everything to please us and make our stay as miserable as possible, would definitely stay again one of our now favourite places to go.

  Everything was perfect!!!
  The location, the room and facilities, your breakfast, if you go half board the restaurant and finally the lovely staff working there – you can’t help falling in love with this place it is stunning.

  We could’ve have loved our stay more. The host was exceptionally helpful and attentive to any questions we had. The room was spacious, modern and was better than any hotel we have stayed in previously. The outdoor area and jacuzzi felt very private and ensured that we could relax completely.
  
  Breakfast was hand delivered to your door, fresh from a local bakery and very delicious, varied everyday from pastries, fruit, yogurt & a fry!
  
  What could be improved: Nothing. Everything was perfect and more. Would recommend Calma Luxury Suites to anyone staying in Rhodes. We will certainly be returning in future.
