You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of adults-only places that promise sophistication but deliver generic luxury – Boutique 5 Hotel & Spa isn’t one of them. Tucked away in Kiotari on Rhodes’ southeastern coast, this place actually gets the whole “refined escape” thing right without feeling stuffy about it. The location is honestly perfect if you’re looking to avoid the crowds in Rhodes Town but still want easy access to some of the island’s best beaches. Kiotari Beach is literally a three-minute walk, and unlike the packed stretches up north, you can actually find a decent spot even in July.

The adults-only policy here means something – I mean, it’s not just about keeping kids out (though that’s nice), it’s more about creating this genuinely relaxed atmosphere where you can actually unwind. The spa is where this place really shines, honestly. They’ve got this incredible thalassotherapy setup that uses seawater treatments, and the therapists actually know what they’re doing instead of just going through the motions. The infinity pool area becomes this sort of social hub in the evenings, but never in an overwhelming way – there’s always somewhere quiet to retreat if you need space. What really impressed me was how they handle the little details. Check-in was smooth (they’ll upgrade you if anything’s available, which happened to us), and the staff remembers your name and drink preferences by day two. The rooms have this modern Greek aesthetic that doesn’t feel forced – think clean lines with local stone accents and balconies that actually make you want to sit outside with morning coffee.

Food-wise, they’ve nailed that balance between elevated dining and actually satisfying meals. The restaurant sources a lot from local producers around southern Rhodes, so you’ll get proper Greek flavors without the tourist trap markup. Breakfast runs until 11, which honestly is a godsend when you’re on vacation. The only minor thing – and this might actually be a plus depending on your perspective – is that Kiotari itself is pretty quiet. You’re about a 20-minute drive from Lindos if you want more nightlife or shopping, but that’s kind of the point. This is where you come when you want to feel like you’ve discovered something special rather than just booked another resort. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places that exceeds expectations in ways that matter.

  It's really a lovely hotel! Nice spacious rooms, with great views. Comfy bed. Great breakfast.
  All the staff were friendly and helpful.
  Great pools (indoor spa pool and outdoor pool). Super private beach area with plenty of comfy loungers.
  We enjoyed the thoughtful touches – welcome drinks on arrival and also in our room, and leaving gifts.
  We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

  This is a stunning hotel. Me and my wife stayed here for 10 nights and it was bliss. A great location because it's peaceful and quiet with its own beach and the views from the pool and bar area are amazing.
  The staff were wonderful, friendly and very hard-working. Nothing was too much trouble and they made our stay very comfortable. We felt very zen after leaving.
  There are also many lovely restuarants nearby if you're not eating in the hotel. Some items are a little pricey but overall it was a wonderful experience.

  An absolutely 100/100 PERFECT stay! I don’t even know where to start to be honest as every single detail was perfect ! The hotel was fabulous and while the hotel was fully booked you would never know it, it was so well managed and run that we thought we were the only guests.
  The rooms are gorgeous, we stayed in “Superior Junior Suite with private pool and partial sea views” and it was worth every cent of the extra money. So beautiful so comfortable and so private.
  The other guests were all very serene and peaceful – it is a peaceful and private resort just made for peaceful relaxing! No loud partying, just serenity.
  The staff were impeccable and could not be faulted! The bar man (Stefanos) what a delightful and cheery person – nothing was too much trouble. All the wait staff were so nice and the spa staff were also very wonderful.
  Every single person we met treated us so kindly- what a fantastic, well run and well managed hotel.
  The food at the restaurant and breakfast was also amongst the best we’ve ever eaten and that is saying g a lot!!!
  Very memorable meals!!!
  The cleaning staff were also worthy of mention – what an impeccable and stunningly clean hotel – our room was always pristine!!!
  Thankyou for the PERFECT STAY – we stayed 8 nights and we’re sad to leave. We will be returning again next year without any doubt!!!

  We had an amazing experience from the welcoming by Apostolos and the porter who accompained us to our room to the nice and cordial service at the Impressions restaurant by Lydia, Nela and Teresa, they all made this experience even more magical.
  
  The food was delightful, each day had a different theme for dinner often with live music by very talented musicians and we really enjoyed the local wine selection.
  
  The room was a junior suite with private pool and bath, we reccomend this choice for couples looking to have some privacy.
  
  The service at the beach was impeccable, we were provided new towels each time and the gentleman in charge was always willing and helpful.
