You know what’s funny about Stegna Bay? Most people zoom past it heading to the bigger beaches on Rhodes, but honestly, they’re missing out – and that’s exactly why Blue Bay Villas works so well. I mean, when you’re staying on the first floor here, you’re basically front row to one of those perfectly curved bays that looks almost too picturesque to be real.

The thing about this place is that it gets the balance right. It’s not trying to be some massive resort complex, but it’s not rough around the edges either – that 4-star rating actually means something here. The rooms have this clean, Mediterranean vibe without feeling sterile, and you can actually hear the waves from your bed (which, let’s be honest, beats any white noise machine). What really got me was how quiet it stays even in peak season – Stegna just doesn’t get the party crowd that hits places like Faliraki. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that resort bureaucracy where they try to sell you excursions before you’ve even seen your room.

Being right in Archangelos means you’re sort of perfectly positioned without realizing it. Sure, you’ve got the beach literally steps away – and it’s one of those gorgeous pebble beaches where the water stays clear and blue instead of getting all churned up and sandy. But you’re also close enough to zip into Rhodes Town when you want that medieval castle experience, or head up into the mountains if you’re feeling adventurous. The local tavernas around here actually cater to locals, not just tourists, which means the food’s legit and the prices won’t make you wince. There’s this little place about a five-minute walk away where they do fresh fish that’s probably swimming in the morning and on your plate by evening – you know the kind of spot where the menu depends on what the boats brought in.

What strikes me most about Blue Bay Villas is how it feels like someone’s paying attention to the details without making a big show of it. The WiFi actually works (crucial for those of us who can’t completely disconnect), there’s decent parking which is rarer than you’d think along this coastline, and the whole place has this relaxed efficiency that makes you feel like you’re staying with competent friends rather than checking into a hotel machine. That 9.9 rating isn’t just inflated review scores – people genuinely seem to leave here feeling like they discovered something special rather than just ticking off another accommodation. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying longer than planned, not because there’s some elaborate entertainment program, but because the rhythm of the days just feels right.

  The apartment is located 500m up hill from Stegna beach in a really quiet area with a great view. Eleni, the host, has been really kind and friendly: it was easy to take and leave the keys, she suggested us a really good beach close to the apartment and she also left some food for us. The apartment seems new or recently renewed with air conditioning and shutters present in every room.
  
  What could be improved: WiFi signal not really good, some barbecue tools were missing and a brighter light in the bathroom would be better.

  Eleni ve tatlı ailesinin muhteşem evinde kaldık. Kocaman bir bahçe ve mükemmel manzaralı bu ev tamamen bize aitti. Girişte ve çıkışta evsahibimizin bize çok hoş sürprizleri vardı. Ev yepyeniydi ve herşey fazlasıyla düşünülmüştü. Bu dost aileyi tanımak tatilimiz için büyük şanstı. Tekrar gitmeyi dört gözle bekliyoruz.

  Piękna i bardzo spokojna lokalizacja dla tych, którzy chcą odpocząć, cisza, spokój i wspaniały widok. Dom bardzo dobrze wyposażony i czysciutki. Wspaniali właściciele☺️, którzy dbają o swoich gości,na powitanie pyszne wino, owoce, a nawet mała niespodzianka 😆. Polecam z całego ♥️. Byliśmy w wielu miejscach, ale nikt nas tak serdecznie nie ugościł.

  Die Unterkunft war sehr ruhig gelegen und doch nah an der Hauptstraße am Strand mit vielen kleinen Restaurants. Die Besitzer sind Seher gastfreundlich und haben einen schönen kleinen Garten angelegt. Man kann einiges entdecken. Als wir kamen, war sogar für das erste Frühstück vorgesorgt. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern und alle Utensilien sind neu. Wir haben viele Tipps bekommen. Die Aussicht über Stegna und die Landschaft aber insbesondere hat uns der tolle Meerblick gefallen. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich und die Zimmer waren mit Klimaanlagen ausgestattet. Es war genügend Stauraum da und man hatte einige Sitzecken drinnen und draußen. Wir würden diese Wohnung jederzeit weiterempfehlen und kommen sicherlich eines Tages wieder.

  To był naprawdę wspaniały czas, z przyjemnością wrócimy tu jeszcze. Czyste i zadbane mieszkanie- świetnie wyposażone, cudowny ogród, prześliczna i spokojna okolica. Bardzo gościnni właściciele, gdy przyjechaliśmy bardzo późno do Blue Bay czekała na nas pełna lodówka jedzenia. To było bardzo miłe! Polecamy serdecznie!

  Die Lage ist wunderschön!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  Absolut ruhig oberhalb des kleinen Ortes Stegna, direkt unterhalb des Hanges, gelegen. Mit weitem Blick über das Meer.
  Am Morgen Sonne auf dem Balkon.
  Die Gastgeberin und ihr Mann haben uns liebevoll empfangen und sich um uns gekümmert. Sie waren für sämtliche Fragen stets erreichbar. Wir haben sogar kleine landestypische Geschenke erhalten. Bei Ankunft fanden wir Eier, Wurst, Käse, Toastbrot, Wasser und Wein in der Küche vor.
  
  Die Unterkunft ist komplett neu. Wir waren die ersten Gäste. Es gibt sogar einen Grillplatz im Außenbereich. Dieser wird gemeinschaftlich genutzt mit den Mietern der unteren Ferienwohnung. Ein Garten um das Haus wurde gerade angelegt.
  Einen separaten Essbereich gibt es im Eingangsbereich zur oberen Etage.
  
  Wir möchten uns nochmals bei Eleni und ihrem Mann für ihre aufmerksame Gastfreundschaft bedanken. Ihr habt ein wunderschönes Fleckchen für Urlauber.
