You know what struck me first about Billy’s Studios? It’s tucked away in this perfect little pocket of Faliraki where you can actually hear yourself think – and I mean that literally, because if you’ve been to the main strip, you know how crazy it gets down there. The place has this understated charm that honestly caught me off guard. I was expecting something pretty basic given it’s called “studios,” but Billy (or whoever’s running things now) has really figured out how to make these rooms feel like proper little apartments rather than just hotel boxes.

The location is actually brilliant if you know Faliraki at all. You’re close enough to walk to Anthony Quinn Bay – maybe fifteen minutes if you take your time and don’t mind the slight uphill bit on the way back. But here’s the thing: you’re positioned just far enough from the main chaos that you won’t have drunk British lads singing football chants under your window at 3 AM. The beach access is solid too, though honestly, I’d skip the crowded main beach and head to the smaller coves if you’re there in peak season. There’s decent parking around the property, which… well, if you’ve tried to park anywhere near the center of Faliraki in July, you’ll appreciate that detail.

What really won me over were the small touches that show someone actually thinks about what travelers need. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show – they’ve got proper-sized fridges and decent cookware, so you can grab fresh stuff from the local market instead of eating out every meal (your wallet will thank you, trust me). The balconies are genuinely usable too, not those tiny decorative things you can barely fit a chair on. I spent quite a few evenings out there with a bottle of local wine, watching the sunset paint everything golden. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the property – I know that sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places in Greece still have dead zones. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that aggressive upselling you get at some places. The staff seemed to actually know the area well, gave me solid recommendations for tavernas that weren’t tourist traps. That 8.8 rating makes sense when you experience it – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place on the island, but everything just… works the way it should, you know?

  Located in a calmer area but still with walking distance to the beach and the strip. Staff was superfriendly. Breakfast ok but a bit basic. Rooms gave good value for money. Pool area was clean and inviting. I enjoyed my stay and give my warm recommendation.
