The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a well-maintained four-star — clean, comfortable, with that Mediterranean color palette that somehow never gets old. The air conditioning actually works (which, trust me, matters in July), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The balcony views vary depending on which side you’re on, but even the garden-view rooms are pleasant since the property is well-landscaped.

The breakfast situation here is actually impressive — they’ve got this huge buffet spread that covers pretty much every dietary need you can think of. Continental options, full English breakfast, vegetarian and vegan choices, even gluten-free stuff that doesn’t taste like cardboard. The restaurant area gets busy around 8:30 AM, so if you’re not a morning person, either go early or wait until after 9:30 when the tour groups have cleared out.
