Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Bello Blu Luxury Villa on Andrea Diakomichali street – I mean, the address sounds fancy but Asgourou isn’t exactly where you’d expect to find a hidden gem. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are tucked away where you least expect them, and this villa absolutely proved that point.

The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cared about creating something special here. It’s not one of those cookie-cutter places where everything feels like it came from the same catalog. The interiors have this warm, lived-in elegance – think carefully chosen antiques mixed with modern touches that actually work together. The views are honestly spectacular, especially if you snag one of the upper-level rooms. You’re looking out over the Dodecanese landscape, and on clear mornings (which, let’s be real, is most mornings here), you can see for miles. I’d recommend asking for a room facing west if you’re into sunsets – the light hits just right around 7 PM.

What really sets this place apart though is how it feels more like staying at a sophisticated friend’s house than a hotel. The staff – and I mean this genuinely – seem to know exactly when to appear and when to give you space. Check-in was refreshingly smooth, no standing around waiting while they figure out their computer system. Parking is actually decent here too, which if you’ve driven around this part of Greece, you’ll appreciate more than you might expect. The location works in your favor because you’re close enough to get to the main attractions without dealing with the tourist crowds that swarm the more obvious spots. It’s maybe a 15-minute drive to the better beaches, and the little taverna down the street (ask them about it) serves some of the most authentic food you’ll find – locals actually eat there, which tells you everything you need to know.

The only minor thing I’d mention is that the WiFi can be a bit spotty in some rooms, but honestly, that might be a blessing depending on why you’re here. The pool area gets the best afternoon sun, and it’s usually quiet enough that you can actually hear yourself think. If you’re someone who needs constant action and nightlife right outside your door, this might not be your speed. But if you want a base that feels genuinely Greek – not the sanitized resort version – and you appreciate thoughtful touches without the pretense, Bello Blu delivers in ways that surprised me. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to extend your stay, and I’m already planning my next trip back.

  Claudia the host was amazing and a great help throughout the whole 4 days we spent there.
  
  The villa was beautiful as well as the location being only a short drive from all the destinations we wanted to visit.
  
  The purpose of my trip was for my hen do. There was a group of 17 of us where we all slept comfortably in a proper bed and had everything we needed and more.

  Everything! Claudia the host was very welcoming with great advice and helpful tips to assist us with our plans for a multigenerational family holiday. She contacted us beforehand, arranged luxury minivan airport transfer and day trip excursions, and birthday celebrations meal with a chef. Nothing was too much trouble. The fabulous villa is kept immaculately clean and grounds are beautifully maintained everything is far more spacious than the photo suggests with a gorgeous view in a tranquil setting. The children loved the pool, table tennis, snooker, basketball hoop and football goals. The adults loved that they could relax knowing they were all safe within the gated villa grounds. Thankyou Claudia you know we will be returning!

  הכל! וילה מושלמת לאירוח. 7 חדרי שינה מרווחים מאד ומופרדים היטב האחד מהשני- לכל חדר מקלחת ושירותים בנפרד. המטבח גדול ומאובזר עד הפרט האחרון. סלון ענקי עם פינת אירוח נפלאה. שולחן ביליארד בבית, בחצר הבית- שולחן פינג פונג, שער כדורגל על דשא ענקי, כדור סל. פינת ברביקיו ובריכה גדולה עם מגוון מקומות ישיבה. כל הוילה ומתקניה נקיים ומתוחזקים באופן מרשים ביותר. בשבוע שהיינו, הגיעה מנקה בכל יום, מצעים ומגבות הוחלפו פעמיים במהלך השהייה והבריכה נוקתה וטופלה. קלאודיה המארחת המקסימה זמינה לכל דבר וכל בקשותינו נענו וטופלו באופן מיידי. התמונות לא מצליחות להעביר עד כמה המקום מהמם. קיבלנו ממנה המלצות למסעדות ולשייט פרטי מפנק. כשהגענו קיבלה את פנינו עם פירות ושתייה קרה- מחווה מקסימה.
  Everything! Perfect for entertaining. 7 bedrooms are very spacious and well separated from each other – each room has a separate shower and toilet. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. A huge living room with a wonderful entertaining area. Billiard table at home, in the yard – ping pong table, soccer goal on a huge lawn, basketball. A barbecue area and a large pool with a variety of seating areas. The entire villa and its facilities are clean and very impressively maintained. In the week we stayed, a cleaner came every day, sheets and towels were changed twice during the stay and the pool was cleaned and maintained. Claudia the lovely host is available for anything and all our requests were answered and attended to immediately. The pictures fail to convey how beautiful the place is. We got recommendations from her for restaurants and a pampering private cruise. When we arrived she welcomed us with fruit and cold drinks – a lovely gesture
