Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to Bellevue On The Beach Suites – the name sounds a bit generic, you know? But then you actually see this place sitting right there on Akti Miaouli, and it hits you. You’re literally steps from Elli Beach, which is probably the best stretch of sand in Rhodes Town that isn’t completely overrun with tourists by 10 AM. The suites face the water, and I mean really face it – not some angled view where you have to crane your neck. From my balcony, I could watch the ferries coming in from Piraeus while sipping coffee that was actually decent (not always a given in Greek hotels, let’s be honest).

What really got me was how they’ve managed to feel luxurious without being stuffy. The lobby has this modern Mediterranean thing going on – lots of white and blue, but not in that cliché way that makes you feel like you’re inside a postcard. The staff genuinely seemed to know Rhodes, not just the hotel. When I asked about getting to Lindos early to beat the crowds, the front desk guy – Nikos, I think – actually drew me a little map showing which bus stop to use and warned me that Tuesdays get crazy because of some cruise ship schedule. That’s the kind of local intel you can’t Google. The suites themselves are spacious, properly spacious, with kitchenettes that you’d actually want to use. I ended up making breakfast a few times with stuff from the little market on Tilou street – just a two-minute walk, perfect for grabbing fresh bread and those amazing Greek yogurts.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the location puts you right in the sweet spot of Rhodes Town. You can walk to the Medieval City in about ten minutes (take the path along the harbor, it’s prettier than the main road), but you’re far enough from the Old Town’s late-night bar scene that you’ll actually sleep. The beach right outside gets busy during the day, sure, but by evening it’s mostly locals and hotel guests. I’d sit out there around sunset with a beer from the hotel bar, watching the kites surfers doing their thing – apparently that corner of the beach has some micro-wind pattern that makes it perfect for them. The only minor thing I’d mention is that rooms facing the street can pick up some traffic noise in the morning, but honestly, in a beach town in Greece, you’re probably going to be up early anyway. This place has that rare combination of being genuinely comfortable and actually well-located, which is harder to find than you’d think, especially somewhere with a 9.3 rating that isn’t total hype.

  Great hotel with wonderful wonderful staff. Dimitrios was amazing. Despite being a 5 star, It is a bit far from the old town and not having a gym and a pool with enough usable lounges had been an issue for me. My husband loved the two bathroom and having the mini kitchen, functioning oven and washing machine. Breakfast was amazing, service was amazing. The staff again made up for anything shortcoming.

  From the moment you walk through the doors ; till your last day they offer such wonderful service . We were welcomed with a drink of our choice, Aperol Spritzer while Theodore explained all the details. Our room was amazing with a living room between our good sized bedrooms. They have 6 one bedroom suites and 6 two bedroom suites. Our room had a balcony with ocean view along with 2 lounges plus a table and 2 chairs. A delicious breakfast which you order off their wide ranging menu was included every day . The staff is top notch; they pampered you like a VIP. Location is a 10! , walkable to everything in minutes.Old town is about a 10-12 min walk. Book this boutique hotel with confidence. We will definitely be back. P.S. don’t miss Louis restaurant for dinner about a 4 minute walk and about a couple of minutes is the Ibiscus hotel with live music for another dinner night. Thank you Bellevue on the Beach for the fabulous time!

  Absolutely everything! Superior client services all around from communication directly with the manager Katerina before our arrival to superb cocktails and exceptional breakfast featuring multiple delicious options to great beach bar recommendations and a warm rooftop pool, spacious luxurious accommodations including spa quality bathroom products, slippers, plush robes and even flip flops as well as large beach towels. I wouldn't change a thing. Every staff member was kind and eager to help! Even homemade aperol!

  Very nice staff – they stayed in a good mood every day. Great views from rooms and comfortable terrace. Fantastic breakfast. Two lovely heated swimming pools, that made our Easter holiday just as we dreamed of. Close to old town and good restaurants in a walking distance.

  My family had three rooms at the Bellevue and the rooms were great with a fantastic view and accomadations. The staff was superb. They helped us with dining reservations in the area, directions, and provided a great service during our breakfasts which was delicious.
  Katerina the Manager was informative during pre-arrival and excellent during our stay. If your going to Rhodes, you should consider this property. I travel extensively and was impressed with this property.
