Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Greek island accommodations, and Athina’s place in Faliraki genuinely surprised me. When I first pulled up to Dioskouron street, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical – the area doesn’t scream “luxury” at first glance. But honestly, walking into that olive grove setting changed everything. There’s something about being surrounded by actual centuries-old olive trees that makes you forget you’re just a stone’s throw from Faliraki’s main strip.

Athina herself is one of those hosts who actually gets it, you know? She met me at check-in with homemade olive oil from the trees right outside my window (I mean, how Greek can you get?), and she knew I’d probably want to know about the quieter beaches since most tourists just hit the crowded ones near the town center. The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile rental – there’s this gorgeous wooden dining table that I’m pretty sure has been in her family forever, and the kitchen actually has proper Greek coffee equipment, not just some sad instant coffee packets. The morning light filters through these olive branches in this dreamy way that had me taking way too many Instagram photos, though I’m not usually that person.

What really sold me on the place was the location’s sweet spot factor. You’re tucked away enough that you don’t hear the late-night party crowd stumbling back from the bars (trust me, that’s a big deal in Faliraki during summer), but you can still walk to everything in about ten minutes. There’s this little family taverna called Yamas just down the hill – Athina casually mentioned it, like it was no big deal – and it turned out to serve some of the best moussaka I had on the entire island. The beach access is honestly perfect too; you can hit the main Faliraki beach for the scene and the water sports, then escape to the quieter Anthony Quinn Bay when you need to actually relax and hear yourself think. Parking was surprisingly easy, which anyone who’s driven around Greek islands will tell you is basically a miracle. The Wi-Fi actually worked consistently (another small miracle), and the air conditioning didn’t sound like a helicopter landing, which, let’s be real, matters when you’re trying to sleep off a day in the Mediterranean sun. That 9.8 rating isn’t inflated – this place just gets the details right in a way that makes you want to extend your stay.

  Everything was just great – one of the best vacations we ve ever had.
  First of all, the owners of the place are very welcoming, warm and amazing people. George showed all the places on the map that are worth visiting, helped to rent a good new car for the fair price and many more:)
  Second, the apartment itself is modern, clean, well equipped. We enjoyed a lot cozy evenings on the terrace with wine and local food.

  This is a REAL Apartment, with a real kitchen, a real bathroom, everything you need, not what you usually find on booking which they call "apartment" but they are just a narrow dormitory. We spend 4 very comfortable days there, it was like being at home. The kitchen has literally all you need. Giorgio and Athina are super nice and welcomed us with a bottle of white wine. They gave us lot of recommendations about where to go and see and also about restaurants. They also gave us an umbrella for the beach. The apartment is outside Faliraki "party" area but still at a walking distance from restaurants and bars. Really we couldn´t ask for more.
  
  What could be improved: If we want to really find something we didn´t like I can say that maybe the bed in the bedroom was a little bit too small. And we were really annoyed durng the night by nearby houses´s dogs barking all the night but this is something that couldn´t be controlled by our hosts.

  One of the best accomodations I have ever been to. Extremely well equipped with all the different things you can imagine, comfortable, spacious, in a quite, beautiful spot (not far from the beach and the city, but far enough not to be noisy, in the middle of a beautiful garden). We felt like at home. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

  Everything was beyond my expectations. The hosts are fantastic, very nice people willing to help with anything you need. I would definitely stay again here if I come back to Rhodes in the future. The 2-rooms apartment has everything you need for short&long term stay, very well equipped and clean.

  We were absolutely shocked by how great and beautiful this place was!
  The apartment itself was very spacious and clean. All was well-furnished, all necessary items available for use, for all possible occasions. Apartment has 2 balconies, one by the kitchen the other one more like a terrace, connecting both rooms. Our stay was FANTASTIC, garden outside was magical, felt like a dream vacation house. The Hosts were the kindest people, very good-hearted, helpful, even gave me some fresh leaves to make tea from when we departed. There were lemons, tomatoes in the garden, which we were allowed to sample.
  Location was great, big supermarket nearby, as well as cafes and restaurants.

  The best choice to stay in Faliraki. Near to the city center but calm and quiet. You can find in the apartment everything you need. We will definitely go back next time in Faliraki.

  A very nice two rooms apartment in Faliraki with a kitchen and a bathroom. It is in a quiet location. The apartment has all the facilities to cook. It is a few minutes walk from the Faliraki beach, Ladiko and Anthony Quin beach. Very helpful owners.
