Arocaria – Faliraki peaceful apartments

Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Arocaria? It’s tucked away just enough from Faliraki’s main strip that you actually get some peace, but you’re still close enough to walk to everything when you want the action. I mean, Faliraki gets a reputation for being all bars and beach clubs – which, honestly, it kind of is – but these apartments sit in this quieter pocket where you can actually hear yourself think.

The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel, if that makes sense. The apartments are proper apartments too, not those cramped hotel rooms with a tiny fridge shoved in the corner and calling it a kitchenette. I’m talking full kitchens where you can actually cook a meal, which comes in handy when you’ve had one too many taverna dinners and just want to make some simple pasta. The owners clearly put thought into the details – decent coffee maker, sharp knives, enough plates for a group. Small stuff, but it matters when you’re there for more than a couple nights. The balconies are where you’ll probably spend most of your morning coffee time anyway, especially if you snag one of the units with a partial sea view.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Look, if you’re in Faliraki in July or August, nowhere is completely silent – there’s always some distant music from the bars down by Anthony Quinn Bay – but the Arocaria blocks enough of it that you can sleep with the windows open. The walk to the main beach is maybe ten minutes, fifteen if you’re strolling, and you’ll pass some of those little mini-markets where the older Greek ladies sit outside in the evenings. There’s actually a decent bakery about halfway there that does proper tiropita – not the tourist version, the real deal that’s still warm at 8am. The apartment complex itself has this small pool area that never seems crowded, probably because most people are off at the beach, but it’s perfect for those afternoons when the sun gets brutal and you need a quick cool-off without the trek. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which anyone who’s driven around the Greek islands in summer will tell you is not a given. The whole place just feels… well, thoughtful, I guess. Like someone actually considered what travelers need instead of just checking boxes on a amenities list.

  The room is comfortable and nice (just like in the photos). There is a place to store luggage if needed, which was helpful.
  As for the location, it’s close to a bus stop and about a 15-minute walk to the center of Faliraki, where most restaurants and bars are located.

  This is our second stay here. We love that it is a little out of the way but still close to everything!
  Parking out front. Supermarket down the road, as were cafes, bars and restaurants.

  Great apartment in the calm part of Faliraki – about 1km walk to the city center. Contactless check-in. Parking at the street.

  Great place to stay. For a Greek standard this is a 10+ appointment, really really cozy, top furniture, spacey and super comfortable. Very supervised with a quality of mattress/ bed. We enjoyed our stay so much. Definitely a recommendation!!!

  The room was extremly wonderful, it has all you need. A AC Wass perfectly working and made a perfect temperature in the room in less than 5 minutes. The kitchen is small but all functional with all the stuff You need for cooking. The bathroom is small but perfect for 2 persons. I loved the balcony and the garden/terrace in the front of the building. The bed was extremly confortable!!! The supermarket is very close, 3 minutes walk from the apartment. The center of Faliraki is about 10 minutes and the beach aprox 15 minutes walk. The place is very quiet, You can sleep well here. The access was simple with a lock code. Recommend 10*

  This property is a hidden gem. The decoration reminds me of a Cycladic island. The apartment has all the amenities such as groom, kitchen etc that make your stay easier and cleaner. The host was really helpful with our requests and willing to make our stay as smooth as possible. The location is perfect as all the known beaches are just 10 mins away. Faliraki is for parties only and really expensive. The town of Rhodes is just 15- 20 mins away by car.

  Great location 5 mins walk to town centre, we flat has what you need to make good food for yourself .the host was exceptional I was asking for a few things and the host was the most kind and helpful person ever completely going out his way to make sure we were happy.
