Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Aristos Garden Apartments on that winding road from Koskinnou – you know how some places look better in photos than reality. But this place actually delivers on what it promises, and then some. The moment you walk through those gates, there’s this immediate sense of calm that hits you. Maybe it’s the way the gardens are laid out (and they really are gardens, not just a few potted plants), or how the whole complex feels tucked away from the main tourist chaos while still being close enough to everything that matters.

What really got me was how much thought went into the layout here. The apartments themselves are spacious – I mean genuinely spacious, not that cramped European “cozy” you sometimes get. The kitchenettes are actually functional if you want to grab some fresh tomatoes and feta from the local shops in Kalithies village, which is basically a five-minute walk down the hill. And speaking of the village, most tourists completely miss it, but there’s this little taverna called Kostas (well, they’re all called Kostas, but you know the one) where the locals actually eat. The pool area gets busy around 11 AM when families with kids show up, but early morning and late afternoon? It’s perfect for just floating around and pretending you have your life together.

The location is honestly ideal if you want to explore Rhodes properly. You’re far enough from Faliraki to avoid the party crowds (trust me on this), but close enough to the main coastal road that getting to Lindos or back to Rhodes Town is straightforward. Parking is included, which might not sound like a big deal until you’ve spent twenty minutes circling narrow streets in a rental car that’s definitely wider than the parking spaces. The staff – particularly Maria at reception – seem to actually care about making your stay work, not just checking boxes. She gave us insider tips about which beaches get too crowded by noon and where to catch the bus if we didn’t feel like driving. The 9.4 rating isn’t inflated tourist review nonsense; this place genuinely gets the balance right between being comfortable and feeling authentically Greek. It’s not trying to be a resort, and honestly, that’s exactly why it works so well.

  The apartment was as we expected, even better. Furnished with new furniture, kitchen equipped with quality appliances. It was very good and we will come back with pleasure

  Schönes Apartment mit 2 Balkonen, einer gut ausgestatteten Küche und genügend Platz. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist ruhig, trotzdem ist man mit dem Auto schnell in Faliraki und am Strand.

  Logement spacieux et confortable avec les équipements nécessaires.
  Le logement est proche des arrêts de bus desservant les attractions touristiques et des agences de location de véhicules.
  Le centre ville est à 20 min à pied.
  
  What could be improved: L’adresse du logement n’est pas précisé. Ils est difficile pour un taxi de trouver l’endroit.
  Pour repartir vers l’aéroport nous avons du réserver un taxi devant un autre hôtel à 10 minutes à pied du logement.

  L'appartamento è in una posizione molto silenziosa e tranquilla, vicina a Faliraki e a Rodi.
  La struttura è di nuova costruzione, con ambienti spaziosi e comodi.
  
  What could be improved: Le lenzuola erano di bassa qualità e molto usurate, le federe ingiallite.
  Al nostro arrivo abbiamo constatato inoltre la presenza di diversi peli e capelli nel letto.
  Gli utensili da cucina (bollitore e tostapane) erano sporchi.
  Consiglierei di prestare maggiore attenzione alla pulizia perchè la struttura ha un buon potenziale.

  What could be improved: Nepáčilo sa mi: 1.Skôr ako sme prišli na dovolenku informovali sme sa u majiteľa na veľkosť manželskej postele načo on nám odpovedal že je štandard to znamená 160 cm široká čo v skutočnosti nebola pravda posteľ bola asi 140 centimetrová a bola tam len jedna tvrdá, nekvalitná matrac.
