You know what really struck me about Aphrodite White Studios when I first walked up? The way it just feels right in Lindos – like it actually belongs there instead of some cookie-cutter resort that could be anywhere. I mean, you’re literally staying in one of the most incredible villages in Rhodes, where those ancient white houses cascade down toward the sea, and this place gets that. The studios have that classic Cycladic vibe with the white walls and blue accents, but honestly, it’s the little touches that got me – the way the morning light hits the terraces, how you can actually hear the waves from some rooms without being right on top of the tourist chaos.

The location is pretty much perfect if you want to experience real Lindos without the headache. You’re close enough to walk down those famous cobblestone streets to the Acropolis (though fair warning – those stones are murder on your feet after a few drinks), but far enough up the hill that you’re not dealing with the cruise ship crowds at 7 AM or the late-night party noise from the main square. What I really appreciated was having a proper kitchenette – and I actually used it, which never happens on vacation. There’s a little market just down the way where you can grab fresh tomatoes and that incredible Greek yogurt, and honestly, having breakfast on your terrace while looking out over the village beats any hotel restaurant. The staff here actually seems to know the area too, not just the usual tourist spots. They pointed me toward this tiny taverna tucked away from the main drag where I had the best lamb I’ve ever tasted – the kind of place you’d never find on your own.

I’ll be straight with you though – this isn’t some luxury resort with a spa and three pools. It’s more like staying in a really well-designed apartment that happens to have one of the best views on the island. The rooms are clean and comfortable (those beds are actually decent, which is saying something for Greece), and the air conditioning works properly – crucial in July when it’s pushing 90 degrees. What really sold me was the vibe of the whole place. You get that authentic Greek island experience without roughing it, and the 9.1 rating honestly makes sense. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, which is refreshing. If you’re the type who needs a concierge and room service, maybe look elsewhere. But if you want to wake up in one of the most beautiful villages in the Mediterranean and feel like you’re actually experiencing it rather than just visiting? This is your spot.

  Our apartment was quite. Everything was there that was needed. Owner and house keeper were super nice and helpful. Always found a parking spot in the parking lot. The rental was reasonably priced – so don’t expect pure luxury! We would def stay there again!!
  
  What could be improved: Can’t say that I really “disliked” anything! Just a recommendation: the faucet in the kitchen was tough to turn on and off. Just needs some adjustment.

  What could be improved: Little things to improve, tea towel, replacement of loo roll , bathroom floor gets really wet so 1 mat in bathroom and one outside bathroom door is needed, can’t have bathroom window open as restaurant above can see straight in so maybe a blind?
