Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places around Rhodes, but Antonakisvilla honestly caught me off guard – and I mean that in the best way possible. When you’re driving through Kremasti (which, let’s be real, most tourists just zip past on their way to the airport), you don’t expect to stumble across something this polished. The villa sits tucked away on a quiet residential street, and the first thing that hits you is how they’ve managed to create this little luxury bubble without feeling pretentious about it.

The pool area is where you’ll probably spend most of your time, and honestly, they got the layout just right. The infinity edge gives you this unobstructed view toward the coast – you can actually see Kameiros castle on clear days, which the locals will tell you about if you ask nicely. What I really appreciated was how the jacuzzi is positioned; you get the sea view but you’re not completely exposed to the neighbors, you know? The whole setup feels private without being isolated. And here’s something practical that matters – the pool gets sun pretty much all day, but there’s enough covered areas that you won’t get completely fried during those brutal July afternoons.

Inside, the place has this modern Greek aesthetic that actually works (I’ve seen so many places try this and fail spectacularly). The air conditioning is properly quiet – none of that rattling nonsense that keeps you up at night – and the kitchen is equipped well enough that you could actually cook if you wanted to, though honestly, with places like Taverna Kritamon just down the road, why would you? The bedrooms are spacious, and they’ve thought about storage, which sounds boring but trust me, after living out of a suitcase for a week, you’ll appreciate having somewhere to actually unpack. The Wi-Fi reaches the pool area too, which… well, sometimes you need to check emails even in paradise.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to those little details that show someone actually cares. Fresh towels by the pool every day, proper water pressure in the showers, and the kind of blackout curtains that actually block light. Check-in was smooth – no standing around for an hour while they “prepare your room.” The host clearly knows the area well and gave us solid recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps. Parking is right there, which matters more than you’d think when you’re hauling luggage in 35-degree heat.

The location works better than you’d expect. Sure, you’re not in the thick of Rhodes Old Town’s action, but you’re close enough to the coast road that nothing feels far away. The airport is maybe ten minutes, which is brilliant if you’re catching an early flight but never felt intrusive noise-wise. That 9.9 rating isn’t inflated – this is genuinely one of those places where everything just works the way it should, and after dealing with the usual vacation rental headaches, that’s worth its weight in gold.

  Everything about the villa exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it. Lots of thought put into this ideal villa, from the wet room and second wc, to the hammocks and beanbags, to the warm outdoor shower and the auto gates. Plenty of coffee shops, bars, restaurants nearby; recommend pano capo. Being on the airport flight path didn’t detract from the experience in any way.

  The Villa is a luxury villa as described with 5 star feeling. So much attention to details to keep guests comfortable with all the little details in the kitchen to living and sleeping spaces.
  There was breakfast left for us in the fridge, which we appreciated greatly.
  We are a family of 4 with no car, and it was easy to walk around to restaurants and the supermarket.
  Will definitely return to this piece of heaven.

  Wonderful villa! Very clean throughout and extremely comfortable. Has facilities to cook beautiful breakfasts and more if desired. The nespresso coffee was delightful.
  
  The three rooms were of good size with comfortable beds and lots of pillows 😊. The air-conditioning worked very well, and we all slept very well. There is mosquito netting on the windows so no issues with them biting us! The outside garden is really pretty and a great place to relax. It was handy to have two bathrooms and the shower was a treat!
  
  Location was great with a 15 minutes walk to the Kremasti town where you can find larger supermarkets, pharmacy and restaurants.
  
  There are car rental facilities near by which was great and allowed us to explore the island. There is also a convenience store as well.
  
  The villa's location is a few meters from the beach. The beach is full of pebbles so make sure to bring water shoes! Still a beautiful beach!😊
  
  The hosts were really sweet and left us a delightful food package due to our late arrival to the island. They have been in constant communication throughout our stay, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
  
  They also helped to book us airport transfers to and from the airport, which was super helpful
