You know what struck me first about Anna’s house? The location on Ομήρου street is honestly perfect – you’re right in the heart of Rhodes Town but somehow it doesn’t feel touristy in that overwhelming way. I mean, you can literally walk to the medieval Old Town in about five minutes, and the harbor’s just as close, but the street itself has this lovely residential vibe that makes you feel like you’re staying where locals actually live.

The place has this warm, family-run feeling that’s getting harder to find these days. Anna (yes, there’s actually an Anna) clearly knows her stuff – she’s got all these little touches that show someone who really cares is running things. The rooms are what I’d call “thoughtfully simple” – not trying too hard to be fancy, but everything works and it’s genuinely comfortable. The beds are actually good (you know how hit-or-miss that can be in Greece), and there’s proper air conditioning, which honestly saved my life during that heat wave in July. What I really appreciated was the attention to practical stuff – decent water pressure, reliable WiFi, and thank god, blackout curtains because the summer sun comes up early and bright.

The neighborhood is where this place really shines though. You’ve got that perfect balance where you can grab coffee at the little kafeneio around the corner in the morning (the owner, Yannis, makes the best freddo espresso), then wander into the chaos of the tourist areas when you want to. Evenings are lovely here – there’s this gentle hum of local life, people chatting on their balconies, the occasional scooter puttering by, but none of the late-night party noise you get closer to the main strips. Parking can be a bit tricky (it’s Greece, after all), but Anna knows all the spots and she’ll sort you out. The whole experience feels genuine in a way that’s honestly refreshing – it’s like staying at a friend’s place who happens to be really good at hospitality. With that 8.9 rating, I’m clearly not the only one who thinks so, and honestly, I’d probably book again next time I’m in Rhodes.

  Amazing host – they let us have a late checkout and had water/ snacks ready for us on arrival.
  We also liked the size of the property – great for families and couples.
  
  What could be improved: There are spiral stairs that could be difficult for people who have mobility issues, children or the elderly. It was ok for us.

  The host was there when we arrived. The house had all amenities and more. Very clean.
  The location was perfect for us. Locals in the strip and very friendly.
  There is a spiral staircase but this didn't bother us. We kept our suitcases down stairs and there was hanging space if needed.

  Veľký Visty apartmán, blízko centra.
  Veľká terasa, úplne vybavený dom so všetkým. Milé prekvapenie v chladnicke v podobe ovocia a marmelád.
  -tichá lokalita
  – susedia sú miestny, dycha to ubytovanie atmosférou starého historického mesta.
  – mali sme žiaľ meškanie letu a majiteľka nás musela dlhšie čakať, napriek tomu príjemná komunikácia a kľúče nám už nechala v check boxe.
  
  Ubytovanie žiaľ nie je vhodné pre malé deti a ľudí ktorým sa ťažšie chodí. Veľmi strmé a tocuace sa schodisko.

  Fantastisk beliggenhet i en koselig gate midt i gamlebyen! Verten, Sofia, var utrolig hjelpsom, fleksibel og tilgjengelig både før og under oppholdet. Hun gjorde virkelig sitt ytterste for at vi skulle få et fint opphold, og bidro til at vi følte oss veldig velkommen. Stedet er helt nyoppusset og har alt du trenger, samt en veldig hyggelig uteplass/veranda.
  
  What could be improved: Leiligheten har en veldig trang og bratt vindeltrapp mellom etasjene, så stedet er ikke veldig egnet for små barn. Badet er i første etasje og soverommene i andre etasje. Vi reiste med to barn på ni år, og det gikk fint.

  Nous cherchions un endroit pour nous loger, suite aux évacuations à cause des incendies, pour une famille de5 personnes. Le logement a été préparé, et aux petits soins. Tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Merci à Sofia et sa famille pour leur accueil.
