You know what really struck me about Anna’s Brilliant Villa? It’s actually brilliant – and I don’t throw that word around lightly when it comes to Greek accommodations. The place sits on Διογένη street in Ialysos, which honestly most tourists speed right through on their way to Rhodes town, but that’s exactly why this spot works so well.

Anna (yes, there’s actually an Anna, and she’ll probably greet you personally) has created something special here. The villa has this warm, lived-in elegance that you just can’t fake – think whitewashed walls with just enough character marks to feel authentic, not like some sterile resort property. I mean, the rating of 9.8 sounds almost too good to be true, but after staying there, I get it. The rooms are spacious in that old Greek villa way, with high ceilings that actually keep things cool even during those brutal July afternoons. And the bathrooms – well, let’s just say they’ve been updated with travelers in mind, which anyone who’s stayed in traditional Greek properties will appreciate.

What really sets this place apart is the location knowledge Anna shares. She’ll tell you about the little taverna two streets over where locals go (not the tourist trap on the main road), and honestly, her dinner recommendations alone are worth the stay. The villa’s about a ten-minute walk to Ialysos beach, which gets busy with the resort crowd, but Anna pointed us toward a quieter stretch that the package tourists never find. Parking’s not an issue here either – there’s space right outside, which is a genuine relief if you’re planning to explore the island by car. The neighborhood gets pleasantly quiet after the sun goes down, though you’ll hear the occasional motorbike puttering by (this is Greece, after all). Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward key-hunting or confusing directions you sometimes get with smaller properties. Anna’s got systems in place, but they feel personal rather than corporate. The whole place smells faintly of jasmine from the garden, and there’s this comfortable terrace where you’ll probably end up having your morning coffee while planning your day. I stayed during shoulder season in May, and the pace felt just right – not too quiet, not overrun with crowds.

  We LOVED our stay at the villa! We were a group of eight friends who rented it for a week and we had the best time ever! Our hostess Anna was absolutely lovely and greeted us with a smile and cake. She cooked delicious food for us one day and took really good care of us the entire week.
  
  The villa is wonderful and much bigger than we expected. The kitchen is well equipped, and a lot bigger than presented in the pictures. Great bbq facilities! The outdoor seating area is lovely, it was more than enough space for all of us. Airconditioning in every bedroom is a blessing.
  
  The villa is located in a nice and calm area, close to a supermarket, restaurants and a bus stop. Located only about a 10 minute bus ride to Rhodes center as well as to the airport. Walking distance to the beach.
  
  A big plus for the flexible check in and check out time! Communication from the moment we made the booking till the end of our stay was smooth; we always got quick answers to our questions.
  
  We are definitely coming back!

  The villa was far better than the photos and what we expected!
  First of all, it it very spacious!!!
  
  Four bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, plus a huge balcony with an excellent Jacuzzi bath for four persons.
  At the ground floor the kitchen equipped with *everything* for our two families of four persons each. A dinning table for eight and two living rooms with very comfortable sofas and armchairs.
  Outside a nice table for eight, were we had our breakfast, the swimming pool under the trees that created nice shadow, many sunbeds and sofas to enjoy by the pool drinks!
  
  Very effective air conditioning in all rooms.
  Many towels supplied for the pool and the jacuzzi.
  
  Anna was one of the friendliest, warmest and most helpful host we have met!

  The property was incredible. It was really spacious, clean and the property description really didn’t give it enough praise as what it was worth. Also the pool and other facilities on site were 10/10. Wonderful price value. Anna was an incredible host and made us feel very welcome and also cooked us two wonderful dishes. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Rhodes

  A real home from home. Couldn’t have been made more welcome, Anna is THE perfect host! Indoor and outdoor space was amazing and the villa had everything you could possibly need. We have stayed in many villas but none compare to this one by way of all the extras that are the norm here. Cannot recommend highly enough.

  Everything was beyond perfect. The villa is really spacious and the outside facilities are really grate. Anna was such a Perfect host. We were welcomed with a fresh baked chocolate cake and Anna even cooked for us one evening. So we can definitely recommend spending your holiday here.

  We had a wonderful holiday at the villa. The house is located in a quiet area very close to a decent sized supermarket (~1 min walk), the local beach and some restaurants. It met our needs perfectly. The house was very clean and Anna, the host, was very friendly/warm and always happy to help.
