Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Anar Villas Rhodes – it’s tucked away on that winding Eparchiaki Odos road in Koskinou, and you know how those side streets can be hit or miss. But the moment I stepped out of the car, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. The entrance isn’t flashy or overdone, just… thoughtfully designed, if that makes sense.

What really got me was how quiet it is here, despite being close enough to Rhodes Town that you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere. Koskinou itself is one of those villages that feels genuinely Greek – not the tourist-trap version, but the real deal where you’ll hear locals chatting in the small kafeneio down the road and smell actual home cooking drifting from nearby houses. The villas themselves are spread out enough that you’re not hearing your neighbors’ conversations through thin walls (which, let’s be honest, happens way too often at places like this). Each villa has its own little outdoor space, and I mean actually private, not just separated by some flimsy screen that blocks nothing.

The staff here – well, they actually remember your name after the first day, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re trying to feel at home somewhere. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, no upselling or lengthy presentations about timeshares or whatever. They’ll give you solid recommendations too, like pointing you toward that little beach near Kallithea that’s usually empty in the mornings, or mentioning which tavernas in the village are worth the walk (spoiler: most of them are). Parking’s never been an issue when I’ve stayed here, which is honestly a relief because finding a spot near the more popular hotels closer to town can be a nightmare, especially during summer months. The location works really well if you want to explore – you’re about ten minutes from some decent beaches, fifteen from Rhodes Old Town when traffic’s cooperating, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the cruise ship crowds stumbling back at all hours. I’ve stayed here during both shoulder season and peak summer, and while it gets busier in July and August (obviously), it never feels overcrowded or chaotic the way some places do.

  The signs are too dark and small to notice, and the dirt track to get to the villas looks like there is nothing there

  The property is situated looking out to the water and relatively new. Lovely finishes and interior design. Comfortable beds and couches. The pool was excellent. A little cold when you first get in but then wonderful.

  Irene is a wonderful host, the villa looks exactly like the pictures, the pool is wonderful, the rooms are large, clean and pleasant, and the location is simply excellent, close to both the city and the beaches, highly recommended!

  Everyday cleaning good location near to oldtown and good beaches 45 min to Lindos. Staff was amazing very responsive to our every need. Every room has airconditioning. Pool have a shower outside. Thank you for the wine and sweets

  Nice contact with the host Irene via Whatsapp: to get the keys but also during our stay if we had questions.
  Beautiful villa with sea view.
  Possibility to get clean towels from the housekeeper.
  Best food and calm beach nearby: Thassos beach!!
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately construction workers were building more villas next to the villa we were renting. Construction works and noises were disrupting the peace and quiet when relaxing by our pool. This even during the weekends 🙁
  Because of the construction works there was a lot of clutter on the property grounds: pieces of plastic and dust blowing in the wind.
  Also we found that the kitchen was not equipped with a lot of cooking tools.
  There was no extra umbrella to place at the pool, making it impossible to spend time around the pool in the shade from early morning.
  Minor maintenance issues: loose toilet seat, loose sealant edges in bathroom and kitchen, unstable pool ladder

  Villa bellissima, esattamente come nelle foto, ben arredata e ben tenuta. Buona la pulizia. Posizione ottima per chi cerca la tranquillità non lontano da Rodi città e dalle spiagge più belle. Letti con materassi da soffice a rigido da scegliere in base alle proprie esigenze e abitudini.
  La signora Irene è un ospite meraviglioso, sempre disponibile e pronta a soddisfare ogni esigenza.
  
  What could be improved: Nulla di così grave: i lettini della piscina mostrano gli anni che hanno e qualche utensile in più in cucina farebbero comodo.
  Il cantiere vicino delle nuove ville non è stato così fastidioso come ho letto nelle recensioni precedenti.

  Konum olarak hem OldCity ulaşımı hem de plajlara ulaşımı mükemmel. Yakınlarında süper market, oto kiralama hizmeti veren bir işletme ve benzin istasyonu olması da cabası.
  
  What could be improved: Hemen yakında devam eden inşaatın ve çalışanların sesleri rahatsız ediciydi. Çalışanlar ile aramızda bir engel olmadığından mahremiyet yok gibiydi.
