You know what caught me off guard about Amarada City Suites? It’s actually tucked away on this quiet side street – Dilmperaki – but you’re literally a three-minute walk from all the medieval chaos of Rhodes Old Town. I mean, you get the best of both worlds here. The street itself is pretty peaceful (no scooters revving at 6 AM like on some of the main drags), but step out and boom, you’re right in the thick of things.

The suites themselves are honestly impressive – and I say that as someone who’s stayed in way too many places that call themselves “suites” when they’re basically just rooms with a kitchenette shoved in the corner. These are actually spacious, with proper living areas that don’t feel like afterthoughts. The kitchens are legit too, which is huge if you want to grab fresh stuff from the morning market near Mandraki Harbor instead of eating out every single meal. Check-in was refreshingly smooth – none of that awkward waiting around while they “prepare your room” even though it’s 4 PM. The staff genuinely seems to know the area well, not just the tourist trap recommendations everyone gives you.

What really sold me though was the location’s sweet spot factor. You’re close enough to hear the faint buzz of the old town’s nightlife, but far enough that you can actually sleep with the windows open. And honestly, the walk through those narrow cobblestone streets to get to the main attractions never gets old – there’s something about those morning walks past the local bakeries and tiny cafes that makes you feel like you’re living there, not just visiting. The nearby parking situation is way better than deeper in the old town too, if that matters to you. I kept thinking this place gets it – it’s got that boutique hotel attention to detail without the pretentious vibe. Sure, it’s not beachfront, but the town beach is a pleasant 10-minute stroll, and you’re avoiding all the resort crowds anyway. For Rhodes Town, this hits that perfect balance of comfort and authenticity that’s honestly pretty rare.

  Everything. This was pure luxury. The property has been renovated beautifully and it was an absolute pleasure to stay there. It was spotlessly clean, the balcony was great to sit on at the beginning and end of each day and the washing machine was a real bonus. I would highly recommend this property

  Wonderful courtyard and room. It had everything we needed. It was also close to many places in the New Town and around 15 minutes away from the Old Town. Make sure to get the 1st floor as it's the one that gets you the courtyard.
  
  Keep in mind that the room and courtyard are made of small stones (you see this all over town). It makes for a unique experience but it's good to bring your sandals.
  
  What could be improved: If you're on the 1st floor, you'll hear your neighbors on the 2nd floor walking around. Our neighbors were good so we didn't have much issue and no issues while sleeping.

  location was great short walk from beach, 10 mins walk to old town and Bus station .
  Lovely apartment very tasteful modern but still traditionally Greek.
  court yard was a welcome retreat , Sebastian Manager very helpful throughout stay, and welcomed us at property with a welcome pack which was nice touch and appreciated after a late arrival.

  Amazing stay at this apartment, Sebastian the host is lovely and very helpful checking in with you to make sure everything is going well. Very central location, close to bars and restaurants. Couldn’t ask for more really, the apartment is spotless and has everything you would need. Also option of “quiet” aircon which is an added bonus when going to bed. Highly recommend and will be back!

  Very central beautiful apartment close to old town and beach. Lots of shops and restaurants on doorstep but quiet once inside. Host Sebastian was great, helpful with local information and helped booking taxi etc.
