Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to the Amada Colossos Resort on Main Street – I mean, Faliraki can get pretty touristy, you know? But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The moment you walk through those doors, there’s this immediate sense that they’ve figured out how to do luxury without making it feel stuffy or pretentious. The lobby has this warm, Mediterranean elegance that feels authentic rather than manufactured, and the staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests arrive (which, let’s be real, isn’t always the case at five-star places).

What really won me over was how they’ve managed to create these little pockets of tranquility despite being right in the heart of everything. The pool area – and there are several, actually – has these gorgeous stone details and landscaping that makes you forget you’re surrounded by the bustling Faliraki scene. You can hear the distant sounds of the town’s nightlife if you listen for it, but it never feels intrusive. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, with those little touches that show someone was actually thinking about how real people use hotel spaces. The balconies face different directions depending on your room, so if you’re sensitive to morning sun, just mention it when you book.

I spent quite a bit of time exploring the area around the resort, and honestly, the location is pretty perfect if you want options. You’re close enough to walk to Faliraki Beach when you want that lively beach scene, but the resort itself feels like a peaceful retreat when you need to recharge. The nearby tavernas are fantastic – there’s this little place about a five-minute walk away where locals actually eat, not just tourists. The resort’s own dining is solid too, though I’d recommend venturing out at least once or twice to get the full Faliraki experience. Parking was surprisingly hassle-free, which anyone who’s driven around Greek resort towns will appreciate. The whole experience just felt… well, easy. Not in a boring way, but in that wonderful way where you can actually relax because everything works the way it should. That 9.1 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s the kind of place that gets the big things right while not forgetting about all those small details that can make or break a vacation.

  Variety of different pools – adults and children enjoyed. Breakfast was very broad. All staff made sure we had a great stay (from the cleaning lady joking to the coo).
  
  What could be improved: We enjoyed everything. An only minus is the condition of the tennis equiptment, but that isnt even a hard minus. We are Finnish so our timetable is different, but maybe activities for the children 18-20 (we eat dinner around 17-19 and go to sleep 21 the latest :D)

  The complex is immaculate and situated in a perfect position with access to transport should you wish to explore. The staff and management deliver outstanding service at all times, day and night. The main food restaurant offers high quality dishes with such fantastic variety each lunch and evening sittings. The Ala Carte restaurants were amazing, food and service made it a truly exceptional experience and easy to book.
  Our bedroom was spacious and boasted a lovely view. Comfortable bed and pillows, cleaned daily.
  The pool was sparkling clean, we loved the pool bar and found this a treat to visit.
  All in all, our holiday was wonderful, and this was due to attention to detail, exceptional customer service, an outstanding Hotel. We are booking to go again next year, for two weeks. Thank you !

  The main highlight, besides being in an all-inclusive resort in Greece with all you would expect, was the staff. From minute one it felt warm and friendly, people who are genuinely happy to see you. Going to give shout outs to Nancy and Helena guest relations, lovely bar and restaurant servers Rosie, Alessandrio, Mario and Maria, Thomas (a wizard server), Christina and the head server at the Italian restaurant (our favourite), and mainly manager Michalis who made our stay extra special, and the coo Georgios, just made it all an incredible, extra special vacation for me and my friends!
  
  What could be improved: I cannot make any complaints, maybe the beach is a bit rocky if you want to swim in the sea, but anything would be nitpicking.

  Absolutely everything was great. The staff was very nice and helpful, the view and surrounding were stunning, the food was great and fresh. We regret our stay at this hotel has finished but we are sure we will come back here again!

  We visited for my brothers wedding as a big group. Great value for money, lovely rooms and great service all round. The management staff went above and beyond to accommodate all requests. The events manager, Michalis, is amazing to work with in particular. Michalis truly did enhance our experience. No complaints, we all had a great time.

  Huge pool, direct access to a private beach, modern rooms. Great beach and pool bars. Breakfast was very good with a huge variety of options. Staff were very attentive and made you feel important as a guest. We received Birthday cake, fresh fruit, macarons, wine and champagne to the room. (Not sure if that’s normal or solely for a Birthday). Really liked that you get bottles of water delivered to your door every morning.
  
  What could be improved: Could have done with a full length mirror in the room.
  A smart tv would be a great addition

  We got upgraded from a standard room to a swim up family room for no extra charge which was a lovely surprise, we also got given access to the executive lounge for breakfast which we made the most of whilst we were there, the COO also spoke with us in the lounge and made us feel very welcome.
  I had a beautiful massage on one of the days and lastly and we found the food, facilities and staff fantastic, we will be staying at the resort again thankyou so much!

  Very nice hotel and beautiful pool area.
  Wide selection of breakfast even for vegetarian, or vegan people.
  Very friendly staff, especially Elena, our customer relations and Rozi in the executive lounge. She was so amazing, lovely and friendly. We received a welcome drink and snacks when we arrived and also the special breakfast on last day was excellent. Thank you Rozi for your very kind attitude!
  We also received a farewell present (rose wine and sweets) on last night, we really appreciated it! Thank you Elena!
  
  What could be improved: The quality of the sunbeds at the sea area could have been better and the size of the umbrellas are a bit small for 2 people.
